Can anyone elaborate on why Thomas More is moving from Division III to NAIA?

They left the PAC and tried to find a conference in D3 and were unsuccessful.  They did not want to be an Independent in Division 3 long term (again).  They were considering a move to D2, but the NAIA won out.

Thank you! Do you know how they chose to join the NAIA as opposed to Division II? I'm looking forward to the matchup Saturday! My wife, daughter, & I are coming up from northwest Iowa. A little over a 5 hour drive. It's much prettier while leaves are still on the trees & haven't fully turned. I hope the weather doesn't interfere with the game! I'd really rather not see either team hindered. Hope it's a good warmup for a very deep playoff run!

Hope your long drive ends with a St. John's victory. Beat 'em soundly and maybe get the West #1. Go Johnnies! I'll be keeping track of your game while watching Mount, hopefully, handle Marietta. See you in the playoffs?

I'm not entirely sure - I'm not familiar with the internal discussions.  But I do know they were NAIA before joining the NCAA in the late 80's.

When do the Saints publish the game preview?

When do the Saints publish the game preview?

Looks like they generally publish something on Thursday.  I was readying their St. Scholastic preview--kinda confusing as both teams are nicknamed the "Saints".  :D

Absolutely fabulous article on Rachel Caruso and her battle with cancer. Things like this really do always put things into perspective.

From perusing the stats, it looks like the Saints are a bit susceptible through the air, and the Johnnies are definitely strong on that front.  The Saints also appear to have a strong rushing attack, which has given the Johnnies some issues from the likes of Bethel, U$T, and Concordia.  Hopefully, the weather doesn't hamper the Johnnie's air attack.

All in all, I like the Johnnies by 24.

Yup, the cold and overconfidence will be the two biggest obstacles after the Saints themselves. If the Saints bust a 94-yard Parks-like TD on their first possession then the tension will be high.
