I'm boarding a plane to Sydney in 15 minutes and will be in the air when the brackets are announced. I'm hoping there is in-flight wifi on this plane because it won't be the same if I'm bitchin' and moaning about SJU not getting the #1 western seed an hour after they are released.

I can't remember the last time Pat and Co were wrong about their number one seeds in their predicted brackets. I'm sure the heartache of their mistake this year will stay with them a long time.

The top 25 is out. Four points separate SJU in third from UWW in fifth. Tight. But indisputable how the voters feel about the RR seeding.

Bethel up to 11th.
UST down to 16th.

UWW only WIAC in the top 25.

EDIT: three MIAC teams finish the regular season in the top 16. This has been a very strong conference this year. The strongest, I feel. No one else comes close to demonstrating the same top end.

Also, congratulations to GAC on their fourth place finish in the MIAC. They were unexpectedly strong and will undoubtedly expect to have a good showing next year.

Basically the NCAA said we have one bracket that we have to make a travel mess. Nice part is if SJU wins two games they get a warmer weather game in Texas.
