On another note, does anyone have any info on whether the Johnnie (or Bethel) game will be streamed? My MIAC app on ROKU does not have either listed on the schedule.

In the past the home team has had the ability to stream games until the semis when it switches over to the NCAA and/or ESPN streaming. I would imagine the Johnnies will be accessible via the app.

Bethel vs NCC probably won't be. Last year's SJU playoff game vs NCC was streamed by a local TV station. The stream was also available via YouTube. Last year I searched North Central St John's football and was able to get it on my Smart TV which was nice.

It's my understanding as well, that the streams have to be free, but I have learned that doen't mean it has to be easy to access. Some may recognize my Raspberry Pi gif and/or the older Redhat Linux command to update the operating system under my bio info. I tolerate Windows, and recognize that many folks have no idea that there are other OSes out there and that there are open standards that are supposed to be adhered to, so I am spinning up a Windows machine as I type this to access the North Central stream, because I was not able to view videos from their site on my Linux box. I'll tinker around a bit more on Saturday leading up to the game, but I am trying to be prepared to catch the stream one way or another.

NCC streams their home games via nctv17.com. Should be there tomorrow.

You could easily go the D3.com front page as Pat always has the link to the available broadcasts. Or a simple lookup of North Centrals athletics site will provide the link to watch. Or you could scroll back a couple pages and look at the NCC game notes posted here, which also has a link to watch

Were there any "wicked googlies?"

Ha.  No, not too many wicked googlies.  Shane Warne, the greatest spin bowler of all time could toss a very wicked googlie.  Warne was an unhittable leg spinner (ball breaks left from a right-handed bowler) who could also bowl a googlie (Top spin and the ball shoots on with minimal bounce off the wicket) and a wrong 'un (ball breaks right from a right hander using a leg spin delivery).  Not only was he able to put insane spin on the ball but he could disguise his delivery as well.

Warnie also dated Liz Hurley for a while and once he and Liz showed up at the the local netball courts on a Saturday morning where his daughter played in the same league as #3.  He not only bowled insanely spun balls, but he dated insanely good looking women as well.
