jamto, To clarify, you're predicting St John's will beat UMHB my a minimum of two scores? In all seriousness? Can you elaborate on that view?

Go check the ASC board for my elaboration.

:D

Presidential candidates refer to it as playing to your audience.

I only truly believe one of those opinions, but the Johnnies have given my karma enough of a hit over the years.

Mate, he's a Tommie.  You can only trust half of what he says.  And that half you can trust to be untrustworthy.  :o

You really wanted to believe it though, didn't you?
If the Johnnies win, it'll be a close one. If UMHB wins, it'll be by a couple tuddies. We'll see if y'all have the gameplan up your sleeve to over the speed/athleticism advantage.

"Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for..."

Man, just read that article on SJU and Nathan Brinker. Here's a quote from Fasching that caught me off-guard:

"He gets an incredible about of pressure on the quarterback. I have coached here for 26 years now. When I was an assistant coaching the defensive line, I coached a lot of All-Americans. I don't know that I have seen someone as disruptive as he is. Except maybe Duffman. Not because Duffman was good, but because Duffman smelled so bad. I mean. It was horrible. Any success Duffman had could easily be attributed to offensive linemen simply not wanting to touch him. So gross. Anyway, Brinker plays hard and with such a high motor it is contagious to the defense, too."

And that, right there, is the nut.  Two more days.  The anticipation is worse than Christmas.

And that's saying something because offensive linemen are a gross bunch.

A tradition unrivaled...

This could be 93 or 2003-we will see if our QB is up to the challenge-a Linnemann or Keating or one of the also rans.
Also, if SJU loses by 14-that means UST is way behind competing.
Will be an interesting weekend-oh I hear TDT is there, look out Texas!

Did anyone else participate in the bracket challenge? I just took a look & I'm currently in 1st with the quarterfinals looming! Fun to see, but it would pale in comparison to how ecstatic I would be if St John's can win it all! 36 1/2 more hours until Saturday's kickoff, but who's counting?!

My West and South brackets are good.  My East and North are horrid.  I'm completely eliminated.
