Reason #47 why I enjoy this board.....football is over for all things MIAC, and now we're talkin' augers.

I'm ready to talk football again. Our season ended long enough ago, the pain has died away, and I'm ready to resume. One of these days, I'll take a look at what we return next year.

When you say "chapel" I assume you mean the church. There is the Stella Maris chapel across the lake. I dounbt if you could see it driving through campus.

Another old fart moment: Back during the days of J Term, augers were common and you could go off the meal plan. To save money (for beer), my roommate and I attempted to survive on beer and anything you could cook in a popcorn popper.  Who knew you could fry a 5-pound northern -- pulled from the Watab ice --  in a popcorn popper? Answer: everyone in Bernard Hall, who endured the fried fish smell the rest of the term. Not cool, but Walter's quarts -- at 47 cents a bottle and labelled "Family Size" -- helped dull the senses.

I'll have to check that out next time. I guess it is referred to as the church, so yes, that's what I'm referencing. I'm used to referring to the chapel at UST. Now I'm going to go into a rabbit hole to determine what differentiates church vs chapel.

The chapel across the lake is quaint the church is pretty good sized, you can see the bell tower from I-94.

Congrats to Brown and Kilgore, well deserved honors to cap off two exceptional careers.

Portillos is a great Chicago beef joint-did you get the beef or the Chicago dog, which would be pretty difficult to eat while driving. Portillos is a Christmas tradition here-beef on Christmas Day.

This is a true but incomplete statement. To complete the statement the following need to be added:
1. After finishing third in the MIAC and missing the D3 playoffs, Caruso's stock has plummeted.
2. Fasching is not going to coach until he is 90, so in reality he has 5-7 years remaining and is perfectly happy at SJU.
3.The premier FCS program in the country will have no problem filling the vacancy.

In all fairness, both Gary and Steve Johnson surpassed St. Glenn.   :P
