This may be my last post. Wind chill is now -26 in Alliance. Snow now coming down (is that better than going up?)! Winds very strong. But even worse. I'm out of beer. Also out of tortilla chips and salsa. I have my age going against me (birthday tomorrow, will be 83). What would you guys do? If I can just make it through today, I can get out tomorrow and restock.

So who the hell are the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders? I found there's a high school team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. They look like they could be pretty good. Surprised they'd be having a "off-campus home game" in St. Paul in October? Not sure I want to pay more than $10 to watch a high school team.

That sounds really exciting. That's a long way off. How do you keep your emotions in check until then? I would be a basket case.
You guys have such a great rivalry. I wish Mount had something similar. We have played The College of Wooster 72 times but it was never, as far as I know, considered a rivalry. Haven't played them for a lot of years and now they are in the North Coast conference.
I would love to see a St. John's/St. Thomas game. I suspect that would be an experience of a lifetime.
Anyhoo, try to stay relatively calm until Oct. 19. And Go ............ ! Having keyboard problems! Bye!

The Battle of the Burgs ended in a 15 to 15 tie but Wartburg won on tie breaker criteria. I was there as one of the 1,004 fans. Si Melby Hall was packed to the ceiling with a big time atmosphere, it was wild. This dual is a true rivalry even though Wartburg seems to have our number these days. We still have a chance to win the team National Championship.

So I see that they have $90 Club Level seats on the seat map, but they're not coming up for purchase on the portal. Do you think these have already been sold-out, or have they not yet been released?
