I voted; Hawthorne wins the wooden spoon.

The Hawks haven't "won" the spoon since 1965.  That's 54 years.  I reckon they have that table beat for chances of happening again.

You wouldn’t think that top gangsta in Miami would go to a scaffolder from rural Western Australia, but here we are. The Hurricanes signed a guy named Louis Hedley. 6’4”, 215 lbs and enough full body tats to get free admission on family day at the MS-13 clubhouse.  He also, apparently, has a booming kick.

All I can say is that I hope they know what’s coming. Mining town Western Australia is a rough and hard place. Half lawless.  The local Super Max should keep a bed free.

EDIT:  An Aussie mate just texted me and said he takes the under on three weeks into spring training before the first drunken brawl.

Ok so the Johnnies have the same chance to beat Augsburg tonight in Si Melby on the wrestling mat. Actually at 197 I think SJU has a good chance for 3 points if Benick does not wrestle. Otherwise they have 4 open matches tonight. WTH?

SJU's wrestling program is in sad shape.  I'm hoping for some resurgence, but I won't hold my breath.

My only comfort is that SJU's football team is to Augsburg as Augsburg's wrestling team is to SJU.

A tradition unrivaled...

Yeah when you see a nationally competitive brand name program such as SJU Football or Augsburg Wrestling annihilate one of your "programs" you look for comfort in other things.

I know what you mean so I go: Ski-U-Mah & RTB!

Speaking of wrestling and winners... Gable Steveson.  I'm more impressed each time I watch him wrestle.  He's unreal.  And he's only 18 years old.  :o

Oh I agree, such a dominant wrestler already at 18. Reminds me of Brock Lesnar in his day as far as his pure domination. I think I read that Steveson is talking Olympics. Sound right?

The whole time my son was home from college for Xmas break it didn't snow once.
Now it snows everyday when I don't have the slave labor available to shovel.
Instead, I have to guilt the wife into doing it, which isn't as easy as telling the boy to get out there.

I'm on my own now but wish I would have known how you do it when my lady was still alive. I always had to shovel. Damn, you're good. Worth a +K. Go Snowblower! ⛄️ 🍺
I'm old! I get mixed up and I forget things! Go Everybody! 🏈 ☠

I know I'm pathetic for saying this but I'm watching the new AAF football league. It's actually pretty good. Not XFLish, just alot of guys on the edge of the NFL I suppose.

The Memphis Express logo looks alot like the Federal Express logo, and since FedEx is based in Memphis I'm guessing there is a connection. (Pun)

One thing, the announcers refer to the NFL as "The League. " lol
