Excited to see my first Carleton/D3 game ever this Saturday.  I don't know much, but Augsburg  Tommies suck.

I know you're new here, so I fixed it for you  ;D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Yet another reason shower shoes/flip flops are important!!! 8-)

Bennie, just stay out of the men's showers and you'll be fine!

Can you imagine effort in the education program underway for the Tommie coeds?

I need to buy a couple of extra tickets to the Tommie-Johnnie game. Do you think the prices on Stub Hub and Seat Geek will go up or down closer to the game?

as a UST(d) alum why does money matter?
Everyday is payday in paradise.

It's gonna be a heck of a game.  I've got a feeling that it won't be close.  We'll see a monkeystomp in one direction or the other and two groups of fans on extreme opposite emotions.  But no moral victories in this game I'm predicting.

Oz, if SJU had a kicker, you'd have nailed this one!  :o

Now this week is a toughie.  I'm thinking that the Tommies will be up and about.  Really charged to redeem themselves for sleepwalking through UWEC plus the chance to make the Johnnies take the long way through the post season (assuming we get there).  So I expect the Tommies to be very high energy.  This one will be close and bitter.

(Plus we now know that like a boxer, the Tommies will have a lot of pent up... energy.  So they will have extra pizazz)

You have to pick your battles. I'm sure you won't find SJ2 outlawing masterbation in its campus showers any time soon. With no women on campus, masturbating becomes second nature to most Johnnies by the end of freshmen year. I figure the administration knows there's little it can do to curb behavior that at a certain point must become instinctual. Heck, I'm not sure they would want to stop it if they could. For many Johnnies, rampant masterbation is one of the things that makes St. John's truly magical...

I believe I have 1 available ticket yet after a friend backed out. DM me if you or someone you know is interested

Looking at the WIAC scores the Eau Claire loss  doesn't look as bad as originally thought. They look at the least comparable to Stout who could have beaten SJ2 and they beat UWRF similarly to Bethel. The closer these games are  examined the more I like the Tommie's chances. This game is not a forgone conclusion.

Who said it was a forgone conclusion?  I expect a very competitive game

Apparently, UST has made a help-line available for alumni who are disappointed with the team's post-season performance.  The help-line number is 1800 101 010.  That's "1800 won nothing won nothing won nothing".

Art: "The way the Johnnies handled the Royals this past week, I have to believe the Tommies will lose their second game of the season and be knocked out of post-season play."

AO: Takes the Johnnies in a rivalry game on the road by 10.5pts

Maybe it's me, but it seems like a forgone conclusion is the general feeling out there.

I just assumed you were referencing your "sky is falling" assessment of the Tommies from earlier in the season, which you've tempered a bit.

I haven't made my picks yet.  10.5 is just the number I think will get half of the pickers to take the Tommies.  Games against Hamline and Augsburg are foregone conclusions, this definitely isn't that kind of game.
