12 passes?  I'll bet Kragnes really had to ice down his shoulder after that!!!

A tradition unrivaled...

The middle linebacker finished with a game-high 12 sacks and also had 1.5 tackles for a loss, a pass break-up and a quarterback hurry.

Very impressive.  :D

How many fantasy points is that, and how do I pick up that defense for my fantasy league?

46-0 SJU is my prediction (3 missed PAT's  ;))

I believe the XP crew was 6-8 on kicks yesterday.
I don't want to say that the yips are completely gone, but it's a step in the right direction

Seems worthwhile, given that 12 sacks was only a game-high, and not even a season or career high.

How this guy has stayed under the radar this long is beyond me.

He's also a really good punter, a fact which I believe was highlighted in the 1st paragraph of the SIDs recap of their game against UST.

It's happened before but that was a different time and not a team that had a loss to UW-Eau Claire. A lot of dominoes would have to fall in order for that to even be in consideration.

Also, U$T would need to beat GAC and unethical Bethel.

Based on current standings and projecting higher ranked teams win out I see 8 leagues positioned for a possible at-large so UST is in a tough spot. My rundown below removes any 2 loss teams from consideration besides UST and assumes 1 loss teams from lesser confernces won't recieve a bid (Williams/Wesleyan NESCAC).

Centennial (1 loss Susquehanna), CCIW (1 loss N Central), Liberty (1 loss Union/Ithaca), MIAC (1 loss Bethel, 2 Loss UST), NJAC (1 loss Wesley), Ohio (1 loss John Carroll/Baldwin Wallace), SCIAC (1 loss Redlands), WIAC (1 loss UW-Platt or 1-loss UW-W with loss to Osh or Lax) are the teams I see fighting for the 5 at-large bids.

In addition to the above 1 loss Brockport still plays undefeated Cortland in the Empire 8 so a 1 loss Cortland would also be on the bubble. And in the ODAC Bridewater is currently undefeated and receiving votes in the D3.com poll. They still play 1 loss Randolph-Macon so another bubble team could pop from that game as well.

The last thing I want to see is the refs nitpicking every little pump and pop more than they already do...  Save the targeting calls for when a guy gets ironed out.

I agree with you, Oz.  At this level of football (i.e. no instant replay), it should be reserved for egregious infractions.  Also, it should be called on offensive players, too.

Calling on offensive players is interesting. The only real situation where it happens is when a running back lowers his head and bulls through a defender. Start calling that and we'll be left with just the quick dancers. I don't know if I want to see the end of the bull. I'm undecided.

AO cheating at his own competition or just good?  IBM says "You make the call!"  ;)

I chose to sit out and give everyone a chance this year.  :) ;)

You guys think you're cool but you're not.... neither am I...... I want SJU to win the whole ****ing thing.... sorry for my French!

I'm thinking the brackets for the semi-finals should be set up so there is the possibility/probability that Mt Union plays UMHB and Whitewater plays St. John's to guarantee at least one new team gets to the Stagg Bowl this year, but my money is that they won't do that and have similar semi-finals as last year. Hopefully the NCAA will spring for more plane rides to get a better distribution of strength, because the West is always packed with strength.

It's way too early to start celebrating.
