Really...I thought they waited until the Monday or Tuesday before the game.

The B1G 10's practice is to announce kickoffs 12 days in advance, which would be today for the 11/16 games.  Occasionally...very very rarely, they'll use a shorter window than that.  What is interesting is that of the six B1G 10 games to be played on 11/16, only one kick off time is known at this point (Michigan/Michigan State).

And....the B1G 10 just announced the networks are in fact going to use a shorter window to announce kickoff times for the 16th.  They will now be announced next Monday.

Coming out of lurker status.  My sophomore year we had kicking issues as well.  John went over to the soccer team and said, hey who do you have that can kick it through the uprights?  Problem solved.  I don't know the exact situation that's going on with the SJU kickers, but this last game was all launch angles.  Can't you make something out of PVC pipe that's 12 ft high to practice kicking over anywhere on the field?  Or how about try and hit the end zone camera that takes the birds eye view shots?  I know I can change my launch angle with my driver while golfing by picking a point in the distance and swinging to that spot.  Maybe they're trying all that and game time they freeze up.  All I know is that we had 5 pt swing in the Cobber game just on extra points....
The last shall be first and the  shall be... FIRST AGAIN!!!

Where do you find that information? I see that Mich/Mich St is an 11 am kickoff. To me that's a good sign that MN/IA will get a 3pm kickoff.

This weekend Carleton has the bye week, so they can be out in the woods on the deer opener.

There are two "gimmee games" this week in MIAC play, St. John's will man handle the Pipers at Hamline, and Bethel will do likewise with Augsburg at home.

Then there is the Lefse Bowl for the Troll Trophy, where St. Olaf heads up to Concordia to try to keep from going 0 and 4 for the last four games, after going 5 and 0 the first five. This is a hard one to pick, but I think the Cobbers will be pumped from last week's upset of St. John's, and it will be the last chance the home town fans get to see their seniors play.

The game of the week has to be Gustavus playing at St. Thomas. I'm going to guess that this game is running under the common folks' noses. I'm also going to guess that attendance at this game is going to be abysmal because "everyone" knows that the Tommies will defeat the Gusties. If, like Concordia did last week, the Gusties stay within a score for the whole game, this could be another upset in the making. As a Bethel fan, I would love it.

At this point it's a mental battle. I hope they either go to the soccer team or go 2 pt. attempts only. Not having a FG option (even from 20 yds) for the playoffs is going to be brutal. :-\
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

So, have the XP's and FG attempts been consistently wide right, wide left, in the offensive line's backs, or all of the above?

I didn't see the SJU/Cobber game, but I noticed and commented on the fact that it looked like the Place was only about 5 yards deep in earlier games. Did anyone notice that this week, or in prior games?

What do you think an eight-figure donation means? I'm thinking more than $60 million, but less than $99 million. I'm not sure why UST would withhold the figure. Whatever the figure might be, it's very generous of the Morrison family.

I still find it quite amusing that UST complained about getting booted from the MIAC.  UST doesn't want to be there.  It's obvious they weren't long for the conference.  So they left on the member's schedule rather than their own.  Big deal.  They were leaving all the same.

I don't necessarily disagree, but what does this have to do with a large donation that endows the college of health?

Well it might lead tot he end of the St. Kate's nursing program so I guess that's one way to relate it.
