Wartburg outscored Central 35-7 in the second half to force OT ... wow  :o
Incredible.  I thought it was all but over.

After Wartburg took a 56-49 lead in OT, Central answered & was successful on their 2-point conversion attempt to secure the 57-56 upset!

Crazy, gutsy play. They came out and then shifted to a formation with Oline lined up on the numbers to the right and center and TE and skill guys on the numbers to the left. Threw left and they snuck in. Crazy ending.  :o

Hard to say. National chair seemed to indicate that GAC didn't get ranked because they weren't viewed as the next best MIAC team to be considered. Reading between the lines, that must have been UST (Which would seem to mean they favored Martin Luther over UST  ::)). Well, UST just beat GAC. What does that do?

Central is now Wartburg's ceiling, but they have a loss to UD. Wartburg is also Central's floor, you would assume.

Another piece is what's happening right now between Whitworth and Linfield - tied as of this writing. (whitworth has zero running game to speak of)

Bethel's SOS took a major hit between Hamline and Augsburg the last two weeks. It gets a slight bump next week. Wartburg has a much stronger SOS (helped immensely by Monmouth's SOS, it pays to be top dog in a weakish conference with two very good non-con opponents. Pays even more if you beat said team).

A lot hinges on if Linfield wins or loses and if UST gets ranked. If UST is ranked, Bethel is 1-1 v. RRO. It's a mess in the bunch between Redlands, Central, Bethel, Wartburg, Linfield. Martin Luther being ranked just keeps a good team from being added as a data point IMO

Oh, goodie.
Now there's a chance the johns will get to knock on LINFIELD 4 consecutive times - or not.

Man, you know summer is on the way in Oz.  I picked up the dog's pooper scooper just now and it had a stinking red back spider, the Australian branch of the black widow, in it.  Luckily it had taken up residence in the scoop instead of in the handle otherwise I would have a damned painful bite right now because I didn't notice it until I was walking across the yard.  It was a big sucker, too. A body almost as big as your pinky nail. I had been taking the dog for regular two-a-day walks so I guess I hadn't needed to scoop in a while and it gave the demon plenty of time to set up a home and grow.

Most surprisingly impressive performance for the Johnnies - Dylan Cerney. The crew of Udoibok and Barber, pounders with enough speed, and Trost and Cerney, slashers with enough grind, points to a successful ground game. That bodes well for the playoffs when weather can dictate a run heavy offense.

Wow, Minnesota is up to 7th.  When is the last time MN was ranked in the top 10, much less this late in the season?

'Minnesotans' will start rowing the boat and crowd surfing the players with relish if this continues.

Art76 -Looking forward it appears the Bethel vs UST is the game of the week. Bethel controls their own destiny. Win & they should be in the playoffs, lose and both UST & Bethel are on the outside looking in with 2 losses.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!
