I feel like SJU survived a scare against a very good Aurora team. Air Johnnie Offense seems perfectly suited for a game in sunny SoCal. I like SJU's chances Saturday.

Weather will be nice by midwest standards but there is an increasing chance of rain on Saturday.

Don't ever sign your kids up for organized, especially club sports...I just got around to finishing up all the "to dos / paperwork" for club volleyball. Took 45 minutes of my life away...not too mention the $$$$$ that it costs!!!

I used to try to budget for the kids activities. Now it's a big black hole. Son just hit the travel sports age segment. That is pricey, along with equipment and other stuff. But now I have been enlightened by my daughter to the wonderful world of competitive dance. All the travel sports in the world are a drop in the bucket compared to dance

A good reason to enroll in ice hockey, you'll save money.

Complaining about spending 45 minutes with your kids is different than complaining about spending 45 minutes on dumb paperwork and jumping through hoops for their activities.

It might be necessary evil. But it's still an evil.

I would like a reasonable explanation for why there are 9 first team offensive-linemen yet only 3 second-team offensive linemen.    That makes even less sense than having 2 first-team QBs.

Well stated Jam, but I think he really does kick trick-or-treaters off his lawn and makes them use the sidewalk before giving them one midget tootsie roll and sending them on their way.

Don't get me wrong. I'm still convinced faunch (like all Johnnies) is a terrible person.
