Let's go Johnnies! Keep this season alive & bring home the win! We're heading to my wife's parent's for Thanksgiving today (around 45 minutes northeast of where we live) & supposed to eat around noon. Actually works out better that we're playing in California so that I don't have to get glares for streaming the game on my phone at their dining room table! I did see the SJU flag waving on GameDay, but as an Iowa fan, thought it was classless of the Goopher fans to be chanting that they hate Iowa! I was actually going to cheer for Minnesota to beat Wisconsin, but after that display won't feel all that bad if they lose their second of the year.

Here is the Johnnie legacy, appropriately in the corrections of a NYT article about UST's future in Division 1. Cant make this up - "as we fade into irrelevance please note we are not modest."

Correction: November 27, 2019
Because of an editing error, an earlier version of this article misstated the university where football attendance is modest. It is St. Thomas, not St. John's.

Man, the Cardinals are looking good - hope they can figure out how to stop the long passing.

Mount is out. Playoffs are as wide open as they've been in 15 years.

That was a good win by the Johnnies.  Chapman were no slouches but the Jays were just too big and too fast and ground out a great victory.  Plus, Erdmann tossed for 458 yards and 4 TD's.  Tough to overcome that.  Defense was rock hard for the first three quarters and let the offense put the game away.

On to Wheaton.  A big challenge.  Let's go, Johnnies!

EDIT:  Make that five passing TD's.  It's hard to keep up.

The bracket makers deserve a compliment this year.  The quarters have no crazy long shots.  Teams ranked 2 - 9 fill all the slots.  It's a well balanced bracket this year.

If the Johnnies can beat Wheaton next weekend, they should be able to get to the Stagg Bowl, as it is my opinion Wheaton would win in a game against either the Warhawks or Crusaders. The Johnnies look to have the toughest road to the Stagg from this point forward. North Central should win the next two games on their side of the bracket. Might be a Red and White Stagg this year, or a Monon Bell redo. Last bit of prognostication is that UWW and UMHB will beat each other silly, and the winner of that game won't be ready for the winner of the Johnnie/Thunder game.

Monon Bell is Wabash and DePauw.  NCC-Wheaton is the Little Brass Bell.

Anybody else spot the SJU flag on ESPN GameDay? I'm still looking for one of the the future Minnesota D1 team? Where's the U$T flag?

It's a pity that some Johnnies have such an inferiority complex. The truth is that outside the annual football game, most Tommies don't spend more than a few passing moments thinking about Johnnies. Yet there are Johnnies who get great satisfaction out of critiquing every move UST makes. When will it stop?

Gotta love a Johnnie win to cap off Thanksgiving weekend! A little worried with our start - I'd imagine Wheaton would turn one or two of those FGs into TDs. Nice to see Tommy starting at CB. It looked like he was having issues against Aurora. It was also nice to see some of the second teasers get action, especially the seniors.

How similar is Wheaton to Chapman in offensive and defensive schemes?

Mea Culpa - Thanx for the fix Mr. Ypsi!

I listened to the Bear's pregame show as I drove around this afternoon doing jobs (as is my custom) and I could listen to the Chapman coach speaking for hours. He's got a fantastic accent straight out of central casting. "Footbawl". Was a good interview.
