Congrats to SJU with your win against Chapman.  You guys were bigger, stronger, faster than Chapman and are very well-coached and it translated to the scoreboard.

To answer your question about Wheaton, on offense, Wheaton runs multiple offenses, depending on what the defense is showing.  At times they will run the spread, at times they will run a more traditional pro set with 2 TE's and at times they mix the two.  On defense, they run a 4-3, but their SAM is a converted Safety that acts as a hybrid linebacker/DB.

Thanks for the info. Wheaton's Dline will definitely be a handful. Hopefully we can force them to bring more than 4. I think that'd help open up space for 1-on-1 opportunities. Johnnie D is going to have to stay strong all 4 quarters. It wouldn't surprise me if Wheaton tries wear us down early to open up gashes late.

Hopefully the weather is decent enough for the passing game, and we don't go down 35-0 in the first quarter.

Aurora, North Central and Wheaton all less than an hour drive of each other and appear to be rising stars ✨ on the D3 landscape.
You can visit all three stadiums in about 1 hour.

Should be a great game in Wheaton Saturday. My initial take is that it's a great matchup. Wheaton seems a little more balanced on Offense, has a great RB and likely has the stronger D (which is saying a lot because SJU has a great D, but their secondary has been spotty of late). Erdmann is a game changer, obviously. Should be the best line play either team has seen all year. If the weather holds that's a bonus for SJU's passing attack.

I think the winner, if healthy, probably has the inside track on a title.

Love my Johnnies but i think the Erdmann Era ends in Wheaton. I just don't think we can play a clean 🧼 enough game to win. Honestly I believe our biggest issue is our inconsistent o-Line.

Good luck to you faunch. I've had three or four. The prep is the problem. You're right.

The special teams, especially the KO team needs to tighten up.

Can anybody find a jersey that fits J W Windsor?

As a colon cancer survivor I can tell you that, while not fun, the prep now is better than it used to be and the propofol that is used now is better than versed.  My cancer was detected early, surgery 2 days later, no chemo or radiation needed and that was in 1999. Good for you for getting screened.
Best to you.   57 :)

Just my take...

This is the best Wheaton defense in the Swider era. Their d-line is awesome and secondary is very good.  They match up very well against the Johnnies passing attack.
