Only giving us 10 pts? That's a bit stingy don't you think?

I just hope we don't embarrass ourselves-why are all of you spending the money to come to Illinois? But then again, Mount didn't think they would lose....

I still remember the line and picks from the 2003 Stagg.

I heard a rumor there would be grilled Chicago polish sausage.

I knew SJU would dominate, ever since they got the transfer from Chicago Poly Institute at O-lne. 5'-3" and 400 lbs plus their QB is a Hippie.

SJU 87
Wheaton 2

Aurora, North Central and Wheaton all less than an hour drive of each other and appear to be rising stars ✨ on the D3 landscape.
You can visit all three stadiums in about 1 hour.

Do you have a tavern recommendation for pregame?

Developing......

Warren's Ale House – 1.5 miles due south of campus.  Wide range of pub food options, large selection of draft and bottled brews, reasonable number of tv's
The Burger Social – Downtown Wheaton, awesome burgers, apps, sandwiches, draft brews
Bricks Wood Fired Pizza – Downtown Wheaton, not your Chicago style pizza, but good wood fired pizza's in casual setting
Giordano's – 2.5 miles east of campus, Chicago style pizza
302 Wheaton – Downtown Wheaton, recently opened with burgers and large selection of craft beers
Emmett's Brewing Company – Downtown Wheaton, pub food, large selection of draft and bottled brews, a bit higher priced
Buttermilk – 4 or so miles south of Wheaton (half way to NCC), outstanding breakfast options
Augustino's Rock and Roll Deli – 3 miles north of campus, outstanding, made to order deli sandwiches

Given the noon start time, you will need to check on opening times for most of these.  Not sure many (other than breakfast place and deli) will be open before 11am.

In Wheaton? One can only imagine the abomination that passes for an authentic Maxwell Street polish in Wheaton.

Thirty miles west of the Loop, and it might as well be on one of the moons of Jupiter for all of the cultural affinity that it has with Chicago.

North Central is from Chicago and Linfield kicked their ass! WOW!  :-*

North Central is from Naperville.

I was curious to see what they were saying back then, so I fired up the wayback machine.... early 2000s web design was gloriously hideous!
