That's impressive. We didn't even have a website until 1999.

The first Stanbob posting is dated August 11, 2007, 10:59:52 pm and states,

Hi everyone, been reading this board for probably about ten years, never registered though.  Went to St John's in the late 70's (did my major at the Midway and La) and still follow the team religiously.  Living in Fairbanks now so if there are any other fans up this way give me a shout.  Bennie, if I remember right you are from Slayton, I grew up in Currie, give us back our courthouse!  Go Johnnies!!!

But he has been on here since 1996.

You're quite the person for non-comprehendence, there were other versions of this board before the current one, I thought it started around 1996, Pat corrected me and said it started in 1999.  I was there then great beldini, you were likely still sucking eggs...

Obviously, Mac and U$T are on differing wavelengths here.  ;D

It is clear where Macalester is on college athletics. I do wonder if St. Thomas had really wanted to stay if there was not a workable solution. My feeling is St. Thomas was ready to move on and this made it easier to make the leap.

Now you are finally making sense...

Now is we could ever get you to make any sense that would be something.

Now is?  And you want me to make sense?

Hang your hat on a typo if you like, but it does not cover up the 1500+ postings of mostly mindless babble that fills your history. But do ride that typo into the dirt if you must.

Wow, am I ever honored that the great beldini went back and read 1,500 mostly mindless babble posts of mine, you should check with Pat and see if he will allow you to the archives from before this version of Post Patterns hit the interweb, as I have been posting here since about 1996.  Thanks again soooo much for taking precious time out of your no doubt valuable time and researching all of my past posts!

Your welcome.

Stanbob is an unfortunate soul. It might be best to disregard.

I think what he was getting at was you said you had been posting since 1996. But in 2007, your first post says you had never registered. :) (Current board software dates to 2005, so that tracks.)

I agree Duffman, but when someone is throwing rocks at you, well sometimes you need to let them know you will throw them back.

If I was just looking at roster without knowing the school name, I would guess it was a Wisconsin state school. The elimination of football at SCSU might benefit WIAC schools more than anyone else.

SCSU definitely doesn't draw a ton of talent from central MN, though I can recall a handful of SCSU --> SJU transfers.  Currently, OL Karl Rude and DL Nick Jensen started off at SCSU.  Kyle Gearman was a Husky, I believe.  Current LB coach Matt Darling started his playing career at SCSU (though I tried to convince him otherwise).

I think, Baldini, what he's trying to say is that he was ... mistaken in 2007 when he said he had never registered. :)

This site started in 1999, I was a member shortly thereafter, I thought it was a couple years earlier, my mistake.  (Check back to Pat's earlier reply, if you have the technology) You can continue to be a buffon, your option...
