Second Salem Brewing did not know Johnnies traveled so well. Not enough help to keep up.

Shocked if they knew there was even a game today.

School called ahead and warned them. They underestimated Johnnie Nation.

Maybe Salem got the numbers right, but underestimated the beer guzzling ability of the Johnnie fans.

Hoping to see San Juan University 8-) blow out UWW.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Thank you Johnnies for another fun season! I am proud to be a Johnnie fan!

Damn that hurts, but it was a hell of a year, Johnnies.  This squad was an inspiration.  Never said quit.  Gave everything you had and I'm proud to follow the Jays.

Lost that one on special teams.  Calling them atrocious is being nice.  Yet another season ends in Whitewater.

Congrats to all the SJU seniors.  That one will sting for a long time, but you have much to be proud of.

Those J's were as good as any team going to the Stagg.

On offense and defense, I agree.  Out of bounds kickoffs, a blocked punt, and numerous 25 years punts make it damn tough to win against a good team.

SJU, this one will hurt for a while but continue building for the future.

Congratulation SRs, you left the program better than you found it and that's all that can be asked of anyone.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Devastating loss, right up there with some of the other ones in school history that made Gagliardi say he always thought about killing himself after each one.

91 turnover fiasco against Dayton.

'94 bounced pass vs. Albion.

'99 leading Pacific Lutheran late, then a fumble.

2000 losing on late FG in Stagg

2002 rally vs. Trinity, losing at end.

'18 vs. UMHB.

This one is so tough because we know the Johnnies could win the title so it joins those. At the same time, this could have just as easily ended vs. Aurora (remember 4th down, down 2 scores....or against Wheaton). Amazing season, amazing four years for all the seniors, and obviously having the chance to watch Erdmann sling it especially these past two years was an absolute joy.

Great game and great season SJU.
In my opinion, there is no question the Johnnies are a Stagg Bowl team.
It just happens that 2019 has three Stagg Bowl quality teams.

I hope Erdmann gets to pursue whatever opportunities he dreams of, he has what it takes.

brewhawk

Great team this year. Both are worthy of going on.  congrats on the season, hope it ends better next year (unless it's against my warhawks). Great back and forth game.

Tough way to end one of the best QB careers in D3 history - a short dump pass over the middle and a bounce off the RB for an interception.  I can't imagine reliving that play in your mind over and over again for the rest of your life.  But seems an NFL career is in his future and maybe the next Tom Brady.

Great game to end a great season and career for the Johnnie seniors, especially Erdmann. Won't miss facing off against him after the last few seasons but good luck to him on a future pro career.

Welcome to the off-season. We've got the place warmed up for you.
