St. John's vs St. Thomas since the start of 2018:

Football 2-0
Basketball 4-1
Hockey 5-1
Baseball 5-0

Overall 16-2

I guess that's what happens at a school that's only known for partying and athletics. I'm not saying that's a bad thing; we need regional schools to fill middle management positions.

Always nice to have a great Senior Class. I am the first to give them credit. Before and probably beyond these years? Another story. Pretty cool to take 2year stats, Regardless, how many MIAC allsports 🏆  have they won? A big fat zero!

There is always this too:

SJ2 NCAA Basketball tourney record against UMAC in the 1st round: 0-2
SJ2 years since Stagg Bowl appearance - 17

Tommie hoops is building for a long NCAA run (see their trophy case), not consecutive 1st round losses to UMAC. Tommie football will go back to the 5 in a row they rolled off on SJU pre Jackson Erdmann.

Yeah, except for they won't have time to waste on little D3 teams like SJ2. They'll have bigger fish to fry!

UST will wallow in mediocrity the likes of which haven't been seen since the Don Roney era. ::)

Sorry to burst your fragile bubble, but UST has a higher percentage of students from Minnesota than SJU.  So that would make it what, a local or sub-regional school?

I wonder if Pat has any plans to start an FCS page/board when the Tommies migrate there?

Nah. We'll have to agree on one of the FCS boards out there and settle in to cause a ruckus though.

It's early, but that is a "post of the year" candidate.  ;D

Ouch! My two good posting comrades teaming up on me. Although, I always take advice from my elders, so I'm going to have that Milwaukee's Best! along with one or two more tonight for the LSU/Clemson dog fight tonight.
