That first game will be tough. I think they have that gunslinger back.

Yes, it will, and yes, they do.  :-\

A tradition unrivaled...

The Johnnies have Aurora and Whitworth on their non-con schedule for 2020, and they'll be visiting both schools in 2021.  Quality opponents!

So we can all agree that the Tommie/Johnnie rivalry is something special. There's been plenty of talk about who might become Tommie rivals in D1. However, there hasn't been as much talk about who the Johnnies' primary rival in the MIAC might be going forward. Bethel makes sense for football, but maybe not across a broader range of sports. Thoughts?

Who has speculated on whom the tommies may acquire as a rival?

Who cares?

About 40% of the regular posters here?

I highly doubt it

I wonder if Stanbob was rejected by UST, lost a job to a Tommie, or lost a girl to a Tommie. Maybe all three...the hatred runs deep.

Never applied to CST, never lost a job in my life, who loses a girl to a tommie?  Your putridness runs far deeper...

You must be great fun at parties...

Probably more so than a egotistical as*hole...

Well, this little exchange seemed to have crashed and burned pretty quickly.

How about change in subject?  That opener with Aurora could be a dandy. Does anyone know who the  Johnnies have waiting in the wings at QB in 2020?

Bleed, I've heard rumors but nothing I'd care to share yet.

So where does SJU's strength of schedule rank next year? It's got to be about the toughest in D3.

I've heard that because of D1 -> D3 special allowances a surprise transfer has one year of eligibility remaining which he'll spend in Collegeville.

In other news, I heard Bill Gates is planning to take a temp position with the local Geek Squad...

PS: We have new scholarships becoming available at UST. If you know any academically potent candidates in need of funding, please pass the word: https://www.stthomas.edu/st-thomas-receives-20-million-gift-for-student-scholarships/.

The times they are a changing'.......
WCCO TV just ran a story the incoming Freshmen 2021 "First Year" will have the option of submitting ACT/SAT scores with their admission application. Now, that's pretty bold for the "Boston College" of Minnesota........
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I thought there may be a transfer or two. It worked out so well for Jackson, I thought others might take notice. Big shoes to fill, but I have no doubt the Johnnies will have a great QB one way or another.

You might not be aware, but many top universities in the U.S. (including the University of Chicago) have adopted these policies within the past few years.
