I wonder if the 2020 football season is cancelled Erdmann and Bartsch can get another year of eligibility?
Yup. NCAA granted a waiver to both of them for unlimited collegiate eligibility as long as they play for SJ2. Elliott and Keating too.

i have to wonder if things are still so dire that fall 2020 sports are cancelled the Tommies move to D1 will be delayed by a year.  Would not give them much time to prepare for such a big move by 2021.

Johnnie57 has been soaking up beautiful blue mountain air while staying at home with She Who Must Be Obeyed.  Nice rocking chairs on the front porch.  Norman Rockwell himself couldn't have picked a better set.  ;D

Thanks Oz for starting Scenes from the Apocalypse
I hope many of our posters contribute. We are all in this together so it is a good time to share our experiences and thoughts as we struggle. Good time to make lemonade.
Stay safe everybody and keep posting. :)

Some sports viewing for those looking to waste away some time while in iso for the 'rona.

This is the Merger Match.  Hawthorn was on the very of bankrupcy in 1996 and merger with the Melbourne Football Club was on the cards to be voted on the week after this final game of the season.  This was expected to the be the last game of the season and the final game for the Hawthorn Football Club but the spirit of the players during and after the match inspired the Hawthorn membership to reject the merger (despite the board recommending it happen) while the Melbourne members still voted to merge.

Hawthorn went on to dizzying heights inspired by the champions of this game and now sit at the most financially sound club in the land (particularly beneficial at the moment) and Grand Final specialists.

The energy in this game is electric from the opening bounce to the last.

57, is this you?  Something strange is going on in Colorado and I don't mean with the wacky tobaccy.

Fake police in Greeley direct driver into roadblock, question her about coronavirus stay-at-home order

Reports of police impersonation seem to be on the rise since the state's stay-at-home order was issued last week. Gutierrez said he'd heard of at least one similar incident that occurred somewhere between Loveland, Greeley and Larimer County. Police in Aurora also reported an incident that happened on March 25.

Nope, not me. Not much chance of me being taken for a law enforcement officer.  :)

A coworker (also essential  :D) ) told me he's been taking Hydroxychloroquine  for the past 5 years. My response: you've had malaria that long? His answer, for arthritis. So he has no concerns of contraction The 'Rona..... which is nice.......
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I noticed that, since the schools are closed, they are delivering lunches to the youngster's homes.
I remember the joy of saving enough to buy yourself a Roy Rogers or Shirley Temple lunchbox (complete with half pint thermos). :)
My older sister was (and still is) fond of peanut butter and ketchup sandwiches.
Nobody ever stole her lunch!   :D

A season which is never played triggers no eligibility loss. (Although, there would have to be some sort of accommodation on the 10 semesters part.)

The semester piece is what I was getting at. Also tricky for kids who would have been Sr's this fall or a 5th year Sr this fall. To extend the career or not??

The lead picture for the Strib story is fantastic. Sad panda wearing a "Too good for the MIAC" shirt--not that day, fella!

There's got to be a Johnnie on the inside choosing their photos, given how many times that one seems to have gotten used.

I think this guy could become the front of this year's Johnnie-Tommie t-shirts. Maybe one of our graphic design Johnnies could superimpose a sad clown face on him.
