I'm planning to watch some classic games with my son as a fill in for no live sports, but also a chance to educate him on the greats of my childhood.

On the List:
1991 WS Game 7 - Twins history
1971 OU vs NU, 1983, 1994, 1995 Orange Bowl, 1996 Fiesta Bowl - Husker history (heartache and triumph)
1993 NBA Finals, Game 4 - Jordan at the peak of his powers (not as savvy as the latter 3 peat, but still with the otherworldly explosiveness)
1992 NCAA Tourney Championship - Laettner's Shot
1987 NBA Finals Game 4 - Bird v. Johnson
Barry Sanders Highlight compilation
Super Bowl XXIII - 49ers vs. Bengals
1998 NFC Championship Game - Vikings peak brutality

I realize that I'm an oddball, but I have really not missed live sports at all (aside from the cancellation of the NCAA wrestling tourney).  Come September, that would change, but I really don't spend time watching sports outside of college football and wrestling.

I'm right here with you. We cut our cord a few years ago and I haven't really missed live sports the way I thought. But I was never a big pro sports guy outside of soccer and the NFL. Miss some college football, and obviously the first couple rounds of the NCAA basketball tournament this spring, but there are always friends and bars with games on if I want to watch something specific. From a sports perspective, this hasn't bothered me at all except it's harder to nap on the couch without an interminable baseball game droning on in the background.

You have a " male" do your hair? Maybe it's because I'm living the life of a bachelor ( don't really like it) but I have a foxy "hair stylist". She pampers me and gives me special attention. In fact, she called me just yesterday to see how I was doing. Claims she can't wait to get her fingers in my hair (I have as much as when I was 21). Maybe she just needs the money.

No! Money has nothing to do with it! Perhaps she just goes for someone who is (here it comes) ruggedly handsome and built like a Greek god. Superb intellect antd outstanding sense of humor.

I have to go now. My nurse says it's time for my shot. She doesn't understa.............
