Iowa with heaps of updates.

In person: Buena Vista, Clarke, Cornell, Dordt, Drake, Faith Baptist, Loras, Luther, Morningside, Northwestern, Simpson

Considering a range: Grinnell

Wisconsin...

In person: Carroll, Concordia, Lakeland, Marquette, MSE, St Norbert, UWEC, UW Green Bay, UWRF, UW-Stout

Hybrid: Belloit

Considering a range: Lawrence, UW Madison, UW Milwaukee

Did Luther change its mind? They announced a hybrid program almost completely identical to Beloit's a few weeks back.

The Chronicle of Higher Ed table says "in person".  Perhaps they have mischaracterised Luther's position, I don't know.

Texas Ole

Carleton and St. Olaf will probably make their decision together.  Most of the emails I have seen from St. Olaf suggest they are planning on in person classes.  Luther having in person classes is probably good news for St. Olaf.  That may be a change for Luther.  I think they had some strange hybrid proposal earlier with some students staying in Rochester.  I think Gustavus would also mirror St. Olaf and Carleton.

The next few weeks are going to be telling.  People have started to ignore guidelines.  If the rate of infection jumps dramatically then I think you have an issue.  If it stays the same or drops then I don't seen why you don't fully open.

Also we have golf!  I will admit that I kind of like it without the fans.  I do feel bad for the players and the caddies with the heat.

Add UW-Superior to the on campus, in person instruction this fall semester.

So NCAA announced D3 football can begin fall camps as early as August 10. SCIAC is meeting next week to determine any conference guidelines and make a final determination on non-conference games.

Which led me to Google and find this announcement by the NCAA.

https://www.ncaa.org/about/resources/media-center/news/division-iii-increases-length-fall-sports-preseasons

Quote
For the upcoming 2020-21 season, the first practice date for all Division III fall sports will be Aug. 10 or the first day of class, whichever is earlier.

The Division III Administrative Committee approved lengthening preseasons for fall sports during a videoconference Wednesday, in response to recommendations from the Management Council’s Playing and Practice Seasons Subcommittee. There also will be an unlimited number of administrative days for schools to conduct nonathletics-related activities, or days on which schools can provide housing and meal expenses to student-athletes before the start of practice.

Doubt I am the only one that noticed UST is not on either of these lists. Due to the lack of chatter and pompous posts from UST backers, it feels like they have been sent to D3 jail for this one last year.

Must be growing pains; the MIAC is moving on with new members who are excited to be a part of a great D3 conference.

One of my favorite restaurants has catfish on the menu (about the best there is) and I'm old enough to remember fish on Friday so that's when I go there. Some time ago Duffman said he didn't think it was possible to OD on catfish. I keep trying.  :)

BTW: your previous post about being from UMU and old just means you have wisdom which is not a prerequisite for web savvy.  :D

Look around Jamtod you are one of two left who are UST boosters and engaged with this site. You and the beloved Chicago Tommie! Has anyone answered his question about recruits? I have not seen an answer yet.

Don't forget about Summit!! fka miacmaniac.
I don't closely follow the recruiting trail or high school football so I'm no help.
Tom Thumb used to be the guy for UST football recruiting updates but haven't seen him around in some time
