I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that the MIAC will cancel all fall sports. There were 50,000 new cases today. I don't think I'm going out to far on that limb.

NOOOOoooooooooo.......  (I hope your limb is a strong one and it's game on)

Yeah, putting the odds of a season somewhere south of me kicking a 50-yard FG.

But hardly anyone here knows that you're actually Jan Stenerud.  How's retirement going by the way?

The virus will run rampant on college campuses this fall. If classes are held in person, some students professors, support staff and community members will die...it's as simple as that.

Happy birthday, America.  Mrs Oz shares the 4th for her birthday as well.  Two years ago we were back home and this was her birthday cake.

La multi ani to Mrs. Oz. That's Happy Birthday in Romanian. 🎂 🍾 🇦🇺
🎼......... born on the 4th of July .........🎤  (From "I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy").
Sung here by either: The Mormon Tabernacle Choir or The Jackson Five. I get them mixed up sometimes!
Many more, Mrs. Oz! May all your boomerangs come back.  ;D

(We all know "I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy" was written and sung by James Cagney)!

I passed along your birthday wishes and she said, "Thank you and Happy Fourth of July" in return. She then said I could go back to "playing with your little Johnnie friends on the internet" with a smirk that makes me think she believes I'm some sort of nerd.

MCAC (Community and 2 year schools) cancelled sports for the fall.

Clay targeting still on!

The Ivy League is expected to announce fall sports will be played in the spring, so I can't wander over and watch Columbia this fall (though spring with baseball, softball and football fields all next to each other could be a good time in the neighborhood).

With the Juco decision, my old Worthington Community College/MN West Bluejays' season is toast, and hoops can't do anything till January.

Fear the Johnnies will be the next of my guys to lose the season.

In news contrary to the shutdown direction, the MIAA has published its football schedule for this year.  Conference games only, of course, but game on for a nine-game season.  I still think the MIAC will be on for conference football.  I can feel the vibe.  If Michiganders can bring themselves to play then anyone can.

I wonder if some schools will opt out from the MIAC, but perhaps the MIAC as a conference won't cancel?

With all of the other discussion, we failed to note that we've reached the time of year where the Football boards get moved back to the top of d3boards.com
Truly a glorious time, whatever else may come of this year.
