Looks like I'll be the first to wish all my friends on this board, and everywhere, a very Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow. Enjoy the day with family and friends.

In spite of a global pandemic and a very divided country, we can be truly thankful for so many things. Count your blessings and pray for a better country, a better world and the safety and long life of all.

Thanks to Pat Coleman and staff for allowing us to have this site. It helps us, in these troubled times, maintain some form of sanity!

May the God of us all continue to watch over us.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING ‼️ 🦃 🍷

Happy Thanksgiving, MUC57 and all.  If you're with your families or not I hope you have a great holiday.  Mrs Oz and I are hosting two Thanksgivings (belts will be very stretched).  One on Friday evening for the in-laws.  One on Saturday for friends that love turkey, taters, gravy and cranberries.  She does me a delicious pumpkin pie (my greatest food nostalgia) and this year will be cooking up a sweet potato and marshmallow hot dish (a memory from my days as a child).

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
We will be having a bottle of Yalumba Shiraz with dinner.  ;)

Ben Bartch didn't get the start but got a lot of playing time and was right in the middle of this five-yard scrum for a touchdown.   A mention by the commentators as well. Good work Ben.

Smoothie King was jacked up after that TD. He may have to put a few bucks in the swear jar because he let some words fly that were clear if you were reading his lips on the close-up shot they did as they went to commercial. But, good for Ben! Well worth anything he'd have to put in the swear jar. ;)

From my view it looks perfectly innocent.  I think he yells, "Let's fetch and go!"  I'm not certain what they need to fetch, perhaps a towel after that effort, but seems perfectly fine for central Minnesota ears.  ;)

Today is finals for C block and my son says it is difficult to concentrate with helicopters and SWAT teams everywhere.

I believe it.  Josh Guimond went missing my senior year, and I lived in Metten Court, which was where he was last seen.  I awoke that morning to a police crew and dog opening my bedroom door.

I started as a freshman the fall after Josh went missing. I remember the e-mails going out from the administration about his dad coming to campus looking for him. Very sad.

It was a big conversation on campus that fall because the one year anniversary of Josh's disappearance was the same weekend as the 409 game against Bethel on November 8, 2003.

Very sad.

Some closure sure would be nice.  :'(

Yeah. Closure would be very nice. It seems the trail went completely cold by March 2004 when the Benedictines obtained a restraining order against Josh's dad, prohibiting him from coming on campus. I can't imagine how gutting that must be for Josh's family. Reminds me of the Jacob Wetterling case, not knowing anything for decades upon decades.
