I have to agree, Augsburg will be fine. The Hagfors Center, the new center of the Auggie Campus is very nice, equal to any building in the MIAC. Plenty of successful Auggie grads out there building great careers. The athletic facilities have been upgraded significantly with new locker rooms and training rooms.

As far as UST baseball, a friend and I attended Gopher baseball games the year they made the playoffs with Vavra on the team and Siebert Field has a D3 feel to it. That is just fine though, it was a fun year to see good baseball up close so I am sure CHS will be fine for UST and Hamline. Looking forward to UST hockey and hearing where they will build a new arena. No reason they can't compete with hockey at that level and soon.

Last ever top 10 matchup on the U$T campus?

The only likely possibility in the next 10-20 years is in men's or women's hockey...and that won't be played "on campus."  Last ever too 10 matchup on the U$T campus?

Almost as many years as John. The longevity of the staff, teachers and coaches at SJU is amazing.

I recall an article in the paper a few years ago that detailed the coaching staff at SJU. In total they had over 200 years of coaching experience at SJU.

My high school choir director went to St. John's and talked about Axl all the time. Indirectly, but I would not be who I am today if not for Axl Theimer and SJU.

UST Bench in his classic tone, fortelling the fate of several MIAC schools.

Oh, I get it. St. Olaf is Hans Landa, destroying a perfectly good conference by kicking out UST. The French dairy farmer is SJU, because he's super nervous about UST getting booted. And Shoshanna is UST getting away while the rest of the conference gets taken out by St. Olaf's Maschinengewehr 42s.

St Olaf is seen here for the first time hearing the news that UST is leaving the MIAC.

MIAC announces plans for spring competition

Football
MIAC football teams may schedule contests at the discretion of each participating institution between the dates of March 5 and May 15. There will be no conference schedule for football this spring and no conference champion will be crowned. So, I guess we just sit and wait for schedule announcements from individual schools?

Teams that will play games: SJU, U$T, GAC, Auggie, Cobber, and Hamline?

I'm pretty ambivalent about having a final Johnnie-Tommie game.  I think it might be a decent quality game if they scheduled it at the end of the window, but it wouldn't be the same with a crowd of a few hundred
