UST vs Augsburg postponed. New date TBD.
Excellent, maybe I can make it to the next game and avoid a conflict on the calendar.

Was thinking the same thing.
And if Augsburg is playing tomorrow now, I assume the issues were on UST's side.

I've been hearing a lot about rising numbers again on college campuses. My kids school has had a number of cases recently also and they noted that this was happening with peer schools as well now, with some of the variants having more of an effect on younger kids now.

Older folks being vaccinated, taking them out of the mix, plus variants more contagious so spreading "faster" among the non-vaccinated (ie. young people).  We're gettin' there, but it's still gonna take some time.

...Plus spring break and oodles of COVID-fatigue.  People are behaving like we're through this, but we're definitely not there yet. The favorite wife and I have 3 weeks till round 2, and I can only hope we'll have pediatric authorization before too long.

Spring 2021 MIAC Football Champs!

"I have declared us to be the MIAC champions for my last season," left tackle Jacob Weisser said. "We're the only conference team that's played an actual game and we're 1-0, so that makes us the champs."

Can someone explain to me how winning your only game-- a NON conference game- gives a claim as "conference champs"?  What about all those teams that went unbeaten in intra-squad games?  While the rest of the article was a good read, that quote is utterly laughable

I love it and fully support it. Not sure if its the case in the MIAC but non-conference record can serve as a tiebreaker for a conference title.

I guess they probably take highest Massey rating for this one.

I hope it was said tongue-in-cheek.  :D

Can't wait to see their rings.  ::)
I kind of hope they do. I love a good cheeky bit, for the sake of dumb memories.
