From footballscoop.com. Don't think I've seen this posted here.  Sorry if it has:

QuoteMacalester College (D-III - MN): Head Coach Tony Jennison has stepped down from his post after leading the Fighting Scots for 13 seasons to pursue another opportunity within the college. He leaves the program as the school's winningest football coach. KiJuan Ware will serve as interim head coach throughout the 2021 season. Matthew Reed has been elevated to interim-offensive coordinator, while David Hout has been elevated to a full-time position working with the outside linebackers and special teams. Mike Harris has been elevated from a part-time assistant to a restricted earnings post - working with the offensive line.

I predict 6 wins. Michigan Tech is my toss-up but I'm leaning UST.

The money spent on those road trips is going to pile up fast. San Diego, Deland, and Davidson are long, expensive trips. I don't envy the fundraising that must be going in to this transition.

I think I can make it to 7 of these 11 games, including mini road trips to UNI and Drake.
It's interesting how the OOC schedule ramps up with NAIA -> D2 -> scholarship FCS UNI. Curious what future FCS OOC games look like, as thus far everything we've scheduled has been MVFC.

I'm with on the Ws. I think Michigan Tech, Valpo, Marist, and Presby are winnable games where if we lose we won't get blown out, but likely a combo of Ws and Ls there.
I suspect Drake, Davidson, and San Diego remain at the top of the Pioneer League above where we will settle (for now).

Zero chance they lose to Valpo, especially at home. I've seen that program up close. I will put money on this. Presbyterian is also a comfortable win. But, if you've got them beating Stetson on the road I'm changing my prediction to SEVEN WINS.

Valpo beat Drake and San Diego this spring. A weird year, but leaves me questioning if they took a big step up.

I put very little stock into what happened in the Pioneer this spring. If anything, pandemic gave UST a grace year to get closer to that level of play.

Don't really care about Pioneer League football!  Really don't care how people feel certain teams will fare in it next year!  I do know the most important number for UST football is 0!  That is the total number of MIAC wins they will have next year.  Good luck to the Tommies in their new home, but here is to a good season of MIAC football.  Speaking of which I just saw the MIAC schedule posted.

Interesting that Macalester plays Trinity in San Antonio.

Glad we're not playing Mac this year.  Already too many cream puffs on the schedule.

Aurora still have Zimbelman on their roster.  I'm both excited and nervous to see if he does another Superman number this year or if the 2019 playoff game was a one-off-playing-out-of-his-backside event.  First game of the year, too.  He'll be an experienced senior and we'll have a big changeover challenge.

EDIT:  Massey has the Jays as 40-17 favourites.  But then he had the Johnnies as 49-24 favourites in that 2019 game.  The D will need to be sharp and ready to play.

94 days until the opening whistle.

Man, that Pioneer Football League fan board is brutal. Once again, we don't always realize how good we have it here.  8-)
