Man, that Pioneer Football League fan board is brutal. Once again, we don't always realize how good we have it here.  8-)

You can say that again.  :D

Glad we're not playing Mac this year.  Already too many cream puffs on the schedule.

Aurora still have Zimbelman on their roster.  I'm both excited and nervous to see if he does another Superman number this year or if the 2019 playoff game was a one-off-playing-out-of-his-backside event.  First game of the year, too.  He'll be an experienced senior and we'll have a big changeover challenge.

EDIT:  Massey has the Jays as 40-17 favourites.  But then he had the Johnnies as 49-24 favourites in that 2019 game.  The D will need to be sharp and ready to play.

94 days until the opening whistle.
Makes me sick to my stomach thinking about him...gotta imagine Dumo might be having nightmares already!

I think this is a little more realistic.

Zero chance they lose to Valpo, especially at home. I've seen that program up close. I will put money on this. Presbyterian is also a comfortable win. But, if you've got them beating Stetson on the road I'm changing my prediction to SEVEN WINS.

Valpo beat Drake and San Diego this spring. A weird year, but leaves me questioning if they took a big step up.

I put very little stock into what happened in the Pioneer this spring. If anything, pandemic gave UST a grace year to get closer to that level of play.

May I direct this discussion over here? https://pflfan.proboards.com/thread/3906/pfl-schedules?page=3

I wish. Worst fan site I've ever seen. Nothing for SJU fans to talk about now until November anyway. Enjoy your 9 tune up games and slight pushback from either Concordia or Bethel. Who knows, maybe GAC will keep it within 3 scores?

I think as long as Don Beebe is HC and offensive coordinator, along with Zimbelman at QB, all Aurora opponents will be seriously challenged.

WLC would have   played Aurora in a NACC playoff game last season but all of NACC's postseason games were scratched, due to COVID--

(Speaking of Don Beebe, his daughter, Kaitlyn , is on the Spartan volleyball team, and was one of the top volleyball setters in the nation That tells me the family's success isn't just on the football field.)

Any relation to this Beebe? I barely follow NFL these days but I recalled this young man's name during your discussion.

After Salisbury staked their claim to the D3 baseball championship, Division III athletics at St Thomas are over. Got the chance to attend the second last game ever, after working a few hours and then driving down (and back) to Cedar Rapids with the 2 year old yesterday.

On to the Summit, Pioneer, and hockey leagues!

If you have a mind to look in on a 24 hour live feed of BU's make-over, they just posted a link for you to watch from.

It's a beautiful evening in Arden Hills.  Also, nice dirt.

Looks like football fans have officially lost another battle in the war against placing tracks around football fields.  The track would have fit perfectly around the practice field south of the Stadium.

Oz, you may be missing the big picture here. Now is the time for some enterprising rat who's looking for a spot in the Rat Hall of Fame to get out there in the dark of the night and bury a small container of JohnnieMagic TM as you guys call it. Would be in play for many years of J's visits.

Either at the 50, in the end zone (both while they are at it), visitors sidelines etc.

Kind of a Jimmy Hoffa gig, but in a significantly different way.  ::)

Of course, there are these 24/7 cameras in play, so best they dress up in a different MIAC school's garb.  8-)
