SJU Adds UW-Whitewater Home-and-Home Series for '22/'23

That is exciting news. With the Tommies dropping out I was hoping we would up our non-conference schedule. Bold move by both schools.

@duff or @ROR or anyone;

Do you have a breakdown of the QB options?

I think it'll be a competition between Chris Backes and Aaron Syverson.  Backes has played 2nd fiddle to Erdmann for a few years.  Syverson is a transfer from Colorado State (originally from Minnetonka).  Backes is a smart kid and runs the ball well.  His arm is average.  All I know of Syverson is what I saw in the spring "game".  He looked pretty good, IMO.  Though I hate to see a guy who put in years as a backup miss out on a chance to start, I think we'll be seeing Syverson under center.

Thanks, duff.  I just had a look at Syverson's hudl senior highlights and he had a remarkably strong arm three years ago.  If he ends up leading us then we will definitely be watching the Air Johnnie (tm) show again.

I'd love to see Linfield in the playoffs vs the Johnnies! WE might have to pull out a few trick plays!

Just returned from a trip to Glacier National Park. If you haven't gone, it's a really a must do. We did a ton of hiking and averaged around 8-10 miles a day, peaking with the Highline/Grinnell Lake trek at almost 15 miles and 40k steps. I'd love to come back through on a western motorcycle trip at some point as well.

Already planning a return trip with the kids in tow now that we've scouted it out and know where all the good cliff/bridge jumping spots are  :)

Nice, Hazzben!  That one's on my list.  My wife took a girls trip to Banff a couple of years ago, and she really wants to bring the family next time.

I'm heading to the BWCA in a few days with my 9 year old--it'll be his first time and my first time in nearly 25 years.  We've got 3 adults and 5 kids.

Good ratio.  I hope the kids can keep you hooligans under control.

I rode the Empire Builder through Glacier last week. One day I'd like to ride it again and stay at the Izaak Walton Inn and then connect with and outfitter to do some camping. I think hauling all that gear by train would be a pain in the ass.
