Johnnies have posted the new fall 2021 roster.  Lots of new names, I guess you can look at it as two freshman classes.  Wish I knew if they had any new transfers this fall.

I assume in DIII they also gave the "extra" year of eligibility for the COVID?  Which means to me guys who were juniors in 2019 could play this year as seniors?  I'm seeing a couple of "missing" guys who might have been contributors, if not this year in the future (not all JR's in 2019).  T.J. Hodge, the WR and KR, is not on the current roster. QB's Abe Havelka and Reed Smith seem to have moved on.  DB Sonte Senne played a lot in 19. Danny Pietruszewski was a JR in 19 and not on the roster. RB Kenneth Udoibok. Kicker Austin Solors.

RB Henry Trost gained a few pounds and is now over 200.

Some of those players may not be eligible due to MIAC rules with graduate players.  I don't know if there is a rule with years and eligibility including red or gray shirts such as 5 to play 4.
Even with a Covid 5th year I would wager that all MIAC players are required to be undergrads. #IMO That should be a rule across D3...not sure if it is.

Thanks, hadn't thought about the undergrad/grad distinction. That would explain a lot.

I think this is a conference by conference thing and the MIAC is one of the few that prohibits grad students. I think this might have enabled a number of UST guys to get another year after graduation

Hayden Fry had the visitor's locker room at Iowa painted pink. Maybe St John's could do the same to their visitor's locker room! It's been such a long wait to see Johnnie football return! Will be interesting to see who emerges at QB & if we'll be able to make a deep playoff run!

Should go with Tommie purple.  They tend to roll over pretty well.

And an opposing player entered that locker room and remarked "I feel like knitting."

Finishing touches going in on the Bethel field . I'm assuming the track will be the next phase, but it looks like there will be no problems having the game field ready for week one. Looks sharp.

Also, looks like visitor stands will be one of the final things added. Which makes sense, since getting the track completed is a higher priority that the visitor seating. Could be a little crowded on the home side versus GAC, but otherwise the home BU games this year don't represent large traveling fan bases, though I have no idea about UWP.

I have to tell a funny story. Every Sunday we drive past UST on the way to church. I have all the kids trained that when we reach the campus everyone holds their breath to avoid breathing in the Tommie Toxicity. It can get a little dicy if I don't hit the lights right  8-) The kids think it's hilariously fun.

It looks great!  And it's nice to know they've upgraded from the old green concrete field.

I taught my kids something different...it involves putting down their window and extending their 🖕

lol, about what I'd expect from the Faunch-kins. Feels a little out of place on the drive to church. But that assumes those are sinful attitudes towards UST, feels more like discernment to me  ;D

Heh.  My kids did something similar when driving by a cemetery not far from our house.  They would hold their breath to stop the spirits getting in.  I, of course, would slow to a crawl as we passed, hopefully hitting the stoplight.  They eventually had to modify the rules to give them breathing opportunities.  Or insist on mum being in the car so I would get yelled at to speed up.

I believe Luther had to get permission from Boise for their blue field.  Central Arkansas has one of the most horrific looking fields.

As crazy as it sounds, anyone that wants a non green field has to get Boise permission.
