Is there a site that streams all the MIAC games? Or is it team by team?

Every team but Concordia and St Scholastica are streamed from Stretch.  You can get to the rest of the MIAC from this link.  https://portal.stretchinternet.com/csbsju/

Concordia do streaming off their own website.  I don't know about SCC yet as we haven't played them.

Perfect thanks. I know For CSS on their schedule they have a watch link by their home games. I haven't been able to see what stream it is yet as we haven't played yet.

@Wdavis5,
I'm a bit curious what brought your boys from Texas to the frozen north.  Was it the football program, the school itself, a combo, or something else?

A tradition unrivaled...
MIAC Champions: '32, '35, '36, '38, '53, '62, '63, '65, '71, '74, '75, '76, '77, '79, '82, '85, '89, '91, '93, '94, '95, '96, '98, '99, '01, '02, '03, '05, '06, '08, '09, '14, '18, '19, '21, '22, '24
National Champions: '63, '65, '76, '03

Texas Ole

There is also a MIAC Roku channel.  There isn't a ton of content on it, but it is worth adding.  St. Olaf also has a channel on Roku.  PS Vue used to be a great way to get out of market sports.

Honestly man it was a little bit of both. My youngest was the one actually being recruited up there. The staff showed a lot of interest and kept in touch. The in home visit was good and we really liked what they were selling. Once we were able to make it up for a visit he really fell in love. The Staff, The program, the education was all big to him. Now his brother was a freshman at UIW last season. Once he heard how it was he was ready to make the trip up and transfer. So here we are. 2 of I think 18-19 Texas boys that made the trip up to play for CSS and keep building. They are excited.

Thanks for the response.  Very cool.  I'm a bit surprised that CSS is recruiting in TX.

I ended up 13 miles from my folks at SJU.  It was the right choice for me.

Yea Duffman. It looks like they hit Texas pretty hard this year.  My youngest had some offers from a few other schools up that way as well. Chose CSS.

Lots of good football in TX, so I shouldn't be surprised.  I hope they're ready for winter--Duluth can be brutal.  :o

Would love to see CSS become a competitive MIAC member. For those of us of a certain vintage, we can recall a small school with a campus hard by Snelling Avenue moving up from the Tri-State Conference.

And Duluth is a great town. Between the fishing, skiing and great muni golf courses (save Lester Park!), I'd retire there in a heart-beat. In the early '80s. we had a house near Chester Bowl and Jim Malosky, the tremendous UMD coach and longtime Gagliardi rival, would often stop and talk as he walked to campus.

But, yeah, the winters. I worked nights when I lived there in the '80s and one night our crew went out to start our cars. The only guy who could get his started was a former Mac basketball/baseball guy who lit a small charcoal grill under his oil pan.

Did you grow up in Duluth as well?  Or just live there for a stint?

I grew up in Duluth, left for college and have been in the cities since, but love the annual visits we make now with our kids.  I wouldn't be at all opposed to moving back up there now with the family, but the job market is pretty limited compared to the cities.  Would be great to have such quick access to the north shore and all of the other great hiking and outdoorsy activities up there.

Spent only about five great years there, although I've made plenty of visits before and after. Friends from there, from 40 years ago this month, remain friends to this day.

We took my East Coast-raised son and his wife for a visit this summer and they loved the place .... and after my wife and I left, they made a couple more trips up there during their vacation. But you nailed it about the economy. Nowhere near the options or opportunities as there are in the Twin Cities. Still, I'm hoping they'll give it a shot and give us even another reason to head up there.

Today's quick hits has only 1 guy picking the MIAC showdown.

I thought Ryan's take was amusing:
QuoteRyan's take: No. 7 Hardin-Simmons and No. 2 Mary Hardin-Baylor. Lots of great games on tap this weekend, but there are only two or three other conference clashes nationwide that I look forward to as much as this one.
considering 2 of the other nationwide "conference clashes" worth looking forward to are also happening this week, with Mount vs John Carroll and SJU vs Bethel (Johnnie-Royalie?)

I'll be keeping a loose eye on the scoreboard while at O'Shag on Saturday. If all goes as planned, I'll tune in for the VOJ meltdown as Bethel pulls off the W on my drive home.
