In terms of "monkey stomps", to borrow a popular phrase, here are number of games with margins of victory at >= 50 points

Nice analysis.  +k.  And that would be a double monkey stomp at 50 points, FYI.

Official stomp grammar is found here:  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hxwpLdvD6eqQPG_tDAIuCS8PlO9P3SJOTM5HPehmcOU/edit?usp=sharing

EDIT:  Post edited.  ROR all over it.

Speaking of the old days, I miss TC's long posts analysing the Twins.

RedTackle and EngiNegro--those guys were awesome.  I wonder if either is still around.  I'll have to poke my head into the LL board.

A little Bartch news. When you're only trailing a former All-Pro, that's pretty darn good.

Highest-graded #Jaguars from Week 8 (min. 25 snaps):

Andrew Norwell - 87.7
Ben Bartch - 77.8
Damien Wilson - 76.0
Jamal Agnew - 71.9
Myles Jack - 71.1

I never saw the 2001 Mac - SJU game, so I don't know what happened. In my mind, there's a difference between consistently blowing teams out and doing what Caruso did (2pt conversions, onside kicks, fake punts, reverses on KR when the game is already in hand).

No, it was nothing like that.  It was just a good old fashioned beatdown.

I am the (self appointed) keeper of the Monkey Stomptm rules.  They can be found here:

or https://www.dropbox.com/s/txfy11p4uf0aw7q/Official%20Monkey%20Stomp%20Rules%20-%20Google%20Docs.pdf?dl=0

Some of the references are out of date since our bromance with RPI ended a long time ago.

57johnnie came up with a new one a couple weeks ago that I will have to dig up and add.
I believe it was:
Hat Trick Double Monkey Stompout - aka Trifecta of shutouts  :D

If the Johnnies can Monkey Stomp Carleton this weekend, it will be a Double Hat Trick Monkey StompTM aka six consecutive Monkey Stomps.

Your point is related to a conference championship game I know, but Wheaton actually did play NCC twice in 2016. NCC beat Wheaton by 10 in the regular season and finished 10-0 and then played Wheaton in the playoffs where the Thunder prevailed by 17 before falling in the quarters to MHB in Texas

Different circumstances - the 2nd game was in the playoffs. The point is that a 2nd game against the same team during the regular season can have a huge impact on the Pool C bid for the playoffs.

Anyone know how the Carleton video broadcast is?

Not sure, but gotta give credit where it's due ... St. Olaf broadcast was stellar last week. Watched it on the TV and it was an impeccable Hi-Def image and very good camera work.

Love it. Thanks for pulling that together. Next time though, just share it with me directly so we don't give this kinda insider info to the board for pick-em's  8-)

Would put the odds of Caruso replacing Fleck somewhere between those of Knute Rockne and Bernie Bierman.

The Goophs just signed Fleck for another 7 years, so I guess U$T is stuck with St. Glenn.

It's a far cry from week two when the Bethel guys were all bunched together at the top of the standings. You wouldn't have to ask if you would have just listened to your BU brethren at the top of the stack. ;)
