I thought for you Minnesotans that's like sweatshirt weather, at most.

Sure, if this were January, it would be, but we have had such mild weather thus far, we're not acclimated to it, yet.

It's been documented on this board that Duffman is always the last one of us to turn his furnace on, and that annual event didn't happen until November 1st.

In all fairness, I was in Florida when the weather here turned cold...
;D

I just dug the cold weather gear from the basement.  Between that, hand warmers, and a thermos of hot cocoa, we should be good to go.

Not related to anything else, but just for fun. In the Johnnie/Carleton game I was taken by the fact that so many Knights were from out of state. I looked at the roster and counted (could be off by one or two) only 7 Minnesotans on the Carleton roster, I would guess that is the lowest number, by far, for any MIAC team.

It's a national school plus there is an admissions cap for Minnesota students. I imagine the roster at MAC looks very similar.

My son asked if we were playing Aurora tomorrow.  Then, I attempted to explain why we're playing Bethel again.   ???

Poor little guy, clearly a First World Problem.

My new gameday gear finally arrived.  Too soft, Oz?  ;)

Where did you order that jersey from?   I love that it's GAMEDAY cut

I feel victimized by the Johnnie Magic.

Time to start the Give The Royals A Berth campaign.  Both these teams must be in the post-season.  Natural justice demands it.

A group of obviously tipsy Bethel students were giving me some **** in the parking lot before the game.  I just smiled and wished them luck.  All is right in the world, now.   ;D

Congratulations to the Johnnies on a great comeback win.
Tip of the cap also to Bethel- great game.

I've seen a lot of Roste, and honestly, I don't think he's ever performed well against the Johnnies...till today.  Good game, Royals!  I was certain this was your game today.

Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

He was a boss today.  Huge game.

I'm probably the only one that loves this new format. Because we get to see those two teams play twice this year.

If not for the post-season implications, I wouldn't mind it.
