Wow.  My hat off to the NCAA.  They were loyal to their criteria.  And made some pretty balanced brackets.  SJU and UWW arguably carry the toughest teams but you've got to beat the best to be the best so that's how it goes.

@BDB-ish

Your AD did a great job on the broadcast as well.  He guided the seeding process well and explained it well on the show.  Give that fella a pat on the back for me.

Yeah I just texted him. Had no idea he was involved until I watched the show.

This is going to be one of the most interesting selection shows, based on how people in D3 bracketology page see very different brackets. From 1 seeds- SJU? Not Mount? To pool C teams, to where teams will be sent and to play whom.
One thought, maybe I am incorrect, but I thought the committee looked at the previous year's results when looking at undefeated teams. So the last year of full play was 2019 and many teams have a number of players back from 2019, like in any other year, so why wouldn't SJU be ahead of umbh and be a 1 seed? I know i have said geographically it isn't the best, but then just have the ncaa say we have East, West, North and South no matter the criteria.

I am of the belief that St. John's WILL be ranked ahead of UMHB as a #1 seed.

Wow! You are the man.

I don't like (potentially) meeting Linfield 2nd round, but on my initial look, I think these brackets look pretty good.

A tradition unrivaled...
MIAC Champions: '32, '35, '36, '38, '53, '62, '63, '65, '71, '74, '75, '76, '77, '79, '82, '85, '89, '91, '93, '94, '95, '96, '98, '99, '01, '02, '03, '05, '06, '08, '09, '14, '18, '19, '21, '22, '24
National Champions: '63, '65, '76, '03

Given the money/geographical constraints they have to work around, I think this is about as fair as they can make them. Central with a very tough draw as an unbeaten. Need to beat Bethel, Wheaton, and UWW to get out of the region if chalk holds. That's a gauntlet  :o

Duff-I agree/Pat's group had us with LaCrosse in second-so this is marginally better.
Guess I will have to make the trip from illlinois.

Congrats to Bethel. Deserved the bid.

Thanks Ret ... playing with house money now as far as I'm concerned. Let's go wreak havoc!

SJU Oline and running game vs. Linfield Dline will be a great potential matchup.

Brain freeze set in already out their east of the Rockies?

Congrats Bethel!   The divisional format might get to stick around for a few years......

I'd also say that's about the best bracket you could come up with for the Johnnies, #1 seed, no rematch against Bethel in the first couple rounds, opposite side of the bracket from North Central.
