I know I lurk a lot more then post in here these days, but man this has to be the most boring and quiet week going into a first round play off game in my 20+ years of following and posting on this board.  Ice Bear not withstanding.... Maybe we should pay someone to pretend to be Lake Forest fans and stir the pot in here!!!  I know Central has posters, where the hell are they?!?!?

Hey I started watching Central when I was 10 years old! Don't age me that fast! I also never worked in admissions, financial aid was more my style. I will find you and kick your butt come Saturday! Don't worry too much, probably can't get my leg that high in my advanced age! 

Central is for real and I think if your QB is injured you might want to stay up north. We have enough jerks in Iowa thank you very much.

I knew it was something like that. For context, my mom worked in the business office at Northwestern College in Iowa for 40+ years. So when I picture you on the boards, it's hard not to imagine her talking smack! 

And for the record, I don't see where anyone has looked past the Dutch. I've stated I think it's maybe the best game of Rd 1.

A Johnnie, A Royals and A Dutch fan stranded on an Island

They Screamed "Help!" Into the Jungle but nobody answered. The next day they did the same but nobody answered and nobody came to help. The next day they did it again and finally someone came to help them. It was some native people who lived there for a looong time. The leader of them said in a perfect English "Greetings fellow people, I am the chief of this tribe. We are cannibals and we are going to eat every single one of you." The Royal, the Johnnie and the Dutch started to panic. But then the leader said "BUT! If you bring me the prettiest fruit you find, you may live."

The Royals, the Johnnie, and the Dutch fan ran into the Jungle and searched for hours. After 3 hours the Royals fan came back with a cherry and a strawberry and gave it to the chief. "Now.. put it up your Butt. If you laugh I will kill you. If you don't you live here in peace and marry my beautiful daughter." So the Royal picked up the cherry and put it inside his Butt. No Problem. Then he picked up the strawberry tried to put it in his butt but he laughed and got stabbed in the chest.

2 hours later the Johnnies fan came and had an Apple and an Orange. He gave it to the chief, who said again: "Now.. put it up your Butt. If you laugh I will kill you. If you don't you live here in peace and marry my beautiful daughter." So the Johnnies fan did. He did it with the Apple, easy peasy, but laughed at the Orange.

The Johnnie and the Royals fan meet in Heaven and the Royals fan said "Did you have to put some fruit in your Butt? I managed the Cherry but the Strawberry tickled too much and I laughed and got stabbed in the chest!" The Johnnies fan replies "Yes I had to. I managed to put the Apple in my Butt, but just when I wanted to start with the Orange I saw the Dutch fan coming out of the Jungle with a watermelon and a Pineapple..."

I am hoping Central puts the foot on the gas Saturday and never looks back. We have a tendency to get conservative sometimes. So what is the status of your QB? I didn't realize he was injured until I saw it here on the boards.

I don't believe that Route's (the QB) status has been revealed. 

Also not thinking Central will be a cakewalk!  If Roste plays, I think BU can definitely compete.  If he's out, it would take a great deal of stepping up from the backup, and the team overall in order to keep it interesting.

My mom's maiden name is Korver, to give you an idea of where the other NWC/OC and Central/Pella ties are for us. My dad and uncle were an AA lineman and WR for the Red Raiders national championship teams in the early 70's. Vern Den Herder went to HS with my dad, and bought my grandpa's farm land a few years back ... wanna keep playing Dutch Bingo!!

- Picked BU to win MIAC championship (close)
- Bracket capsule says SJU will go as far as they outscore opponents. Either that's a clever quip based on the recent last second win or another example of the most cliched 'guide to winning' phrase ever used. Compare it to other 1 seeds, or even some of the 2 and 3 seeds.
