So thoughts on how St John's will match up against Linfield? Sounds like the pundits are all much higher on Linfield than they are St John's. Whereas we struggled with Bethel in our two meetings, Central's offense had very little difficulty putting up points. Wheaton really pulled away from Aurora.

BU terrible on return coverage.  Missed Nate Farm at SS. On the brighter side, BU only has 5 seniors on the 500 man roster. :)  BU will be back. Roste ??? Kidder begins practice with the BU basketball team on Monday.

We had 200 guys out for the team...gotta be able to find a holder.

Yeah, but your roster is limited, so you ideally need to find someone who's already on the playoff roster.

Not feeling good about it...glad we are at home but i don't think we're a top 4 team. If we somehow get by Linfield i don't see us getting past week 3.

You can't add someone?

I'm pessimistic now, but my confidence will grow throughout the week.

Faunch, sure you can add someone, but you hate to use a roster spot for a guy that just holds. You'd like to have someone that could be used elsewhere, if needed.

I get that...maybe the third string quarterback could do it? Xtra points can make our break a game.

Looking at the roots of the eight teams in the St. John's bracket, it's an ecumenical slugfest.  :)
St. John's, Catholic; Lake Forest, Presbyterian; Linfield, American Baptist; Redlands, American Baptist; Mary Hardin, Southern Baptist; Trinity, Tx Presbyterian; Birmingham-Southern , United Methodist; Huntingdon, Methodist

Last post...will be watching BU basketball...lost to Gustavus this afternoon.
Go Johnnies...get a win for the MIAC

More injuries to deal with for the Js.  :-\

Faoliu appeared alright on the sidelines, so hopefully, he's good to go next Saturday.  Van Erp, though, man.  To me it looked like he dislocated his hip.  That's brutal.  So, do you have your starting QB hold for kicks or just go for 2?  Ugh.

And the long snapper as well.  For the first time since forever we have a dead-eye kicker and now we've lost the first and second holders as well as the snapper.  I reckon long ago John Gagliardi made a disparaging comment about kickers and one of the old priests held a grudge into death.  Our luck with the kicking game is as bad as the Curse of the Bambino.  It's like being a drummer for Spinal Tap.

What happened in the Bethel game? Stats look even and they lost by almost 4 TDs?
Outstanding field position for the Dutch all day. Second TD only required one play for 7 yards.
