44 first downs?!?!  Wow!  Good win for the Falcons.

So thoughts on how St John's will match up against Linfield? Sounds like the pundits are all much higher on Linfield than they are St John's. Whereas we struggled with Bethel in our two meetings, Central's offense had very little difficulty putting up points. Wheaton really pulled away from Aurora.
Linfield is a TD underdog.   Why?
   *  Game is in Minnesota in late November.
   *  SJU home field advantage.

I would love to be there, but, if we win, I can't afford to go to 2-4 long distance games.

I would make it a pickem game-Probably come down to that difficult field goal

I agree with this being a pick-em.  Linfield seems to have a lot of juice right now.

Why couldn't the SJU video stream be broadcast with announcers?  Having to sync up a separate audio source for the broadcast was a pain in the tookus. The Central and Linfield were streamed with announcers. What gives?

BU terrible on return coverage.  Missed Nate Farm at SS. On the brighter side, BU only has 5 seniors on the 500 man roster. :)  BU will be back. Roste ??? Kidder begins practice with the BU basketball team on Monday.

Nate Farm played today - at least he is listed in the stats.

It had the announcers for me. I didn't need to sync. Strange.

My video had VOJ in sync. The listen link had him 30 seconds behind like an away game.

I streamed on the MIAC Channel on ROKU. It was excellent with the SJU announce team. I suggest getting a streaming device (ROKU, Amazone Fire, and maybe others) Cost about $20 - $35 depending on level. It has other Channels that you might like as well NWC, UMHB etc, You can watch SJU Hockey, basketball as well as other sports. Not all games, but worth the investment.

Back home from SJU-great to see Veek, Dustysju, 105, finsleft and TDT. Special shout out to Veek, Sr, always wonderful to see him and be greeted with, Chris you old son of a gun! Thank you Veek and Dusty for the great food!!! Always great to come back and see everyone.
Good game-Lake Forest never quit-though their kicking game needs some work.
On to linfield-oh boy.
Mark-too bad we couldn't chat but nice to see and get a quick wave-you are the best!

Despite the victory, how many slots will the Johnnies drop in the top 25?
0, 1, 2, 3??????

More injuries to deal with for the Js.  :-\

Faoliu appeared alright on the sidelines, so hopefully, he's good to go next Saturday.  Van Erp, though, man.  To me it looked like he dislocated his hip.  That's brutal.  So, do you have your starting QB hold for kicks or just go for 2?  Ugh.
Sitting in  The La after the game strategizing how this plays out, #1 QB out, starting RG & RT out, KR-PR- Holder out, #1 RB hobbled, #1WR hobbled, LS out, it time to dust off the "Next Man Up" instructional manual. #GoJohnnies   8-)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

While there is no doubt that the Johnnies are facing, to say the very least, a daunting challenge to get to Canton. The hard road is not unprecedented in Johnnie history. In 2000 the Johnnies were an at large team that was seeded 7th in their bracket. The Johnnies hit the road and beat a 10-0 UW-Stout, a 9-1 defending national champion PLU, a 12-0 Central and a 12-0 Hardin-Simmons.

Now I am not saying that Chris Backes is a Tom Linneman caliber QB and there isn't a budding superstar like Blake Elliot on the roster. A few of the same coaches are still here and as long as the Johnnies keep winning they will be at home. Just saying.

Not sure how many follow high school football, but Johnnie All-American and 2003 MIAC Stam Award recipient Ryan Weinandt has his Dassel-Cokato Chargers back in the MN state championship game.  He was also named Kare 11 metro coach of the year.  Ryan was a fantastic teammate and player, and it doesn't surprise me at all that he's having great success as a coach!  Go Chargers!
