D O.C.

I admit I was wrong about Ben Bartch.
How could I have figured against a guy born in McMinnville in the middle of a 65 season winning streak?

Funny thing is that the 2002 Johnnie/Wildcat game in McMinnville helped to get Bartch to Collegeville.  The young lad was there to witness SJU leave no doubt.  :o

Looking at his birth year of 1998 made me feel aged.

Who is everyone pulling for tonight? Are you cheering for UMHB since they defeated Linfield? North Central because geographically they're closer than is UMHB? I hope it's a good game although I'd be much more thrilled if St John's was in it! Hopefully soon!

I'm for NCC because: 1) midwestern school; 2) my old HS pal and teammate was an assistant there a few years ago and his sons played there; 3) HS hoops coach freshman year played there and then coached there and is a HOFamer.

I have no preference either way.

Congrats to Central QB Blaine Hawkins on winning the Gagliardi Trophy!

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing UMHB win since North Central won the last one & St John's would have squared off with UMHB if we had gotten by Linfield.

Rooting for UMHB... they had to get past Trinity, Central, Wheaton, Linfield, SJU and Whitewater.... and they didn't even have a bye. I forgot who was on the other side of the bracket besides UMU and NCC.  :-X

sjujohnnie

I really thought, going into the game, that North Central would come out on top, but UMHB really took it to them! 57-24, final. So sitting on top of the Division III football heap is UMHB, North Central, Mount Union, & Whitewater.

Jeez, that was an impressive win.  The Cru looked scary good.  Kyle King made NCC his bitch.

What did I tell you people... NCC got a cake walk at the carnival.... Linfield would have beat them by 3. It's incredible that you people don't have my insight but I keep trying....  :P :-* 8-)

Just because we think you're bat-**** crazy doesn't necessarily mean that we don't believe you.  No offense, but I personally think you're full of hot air.  :P
