In Australia and New Zealand we commemorate war casualties on April 25, called ANZAC Day and the date of the ANZAC (Australia and New Zealand Army Corp) landing on Gallipoli in WWI.  We have dawn services all over Australia which mirror the dawn service held in Turkey at the Gallipoli beaches, timed to match when boots first hit the ground.

Hopefully you avoided the severe weather this weekend. We had out swing set blown over for what feels like the tenth time this spring.

We were tent camping near Luverne this weekend.  It was a little hairy, at times.

We headed home Sunday afternoon, so I am not sure what rolled through after that, but we got a doozy about 3 a.m. on Sunday morning.  The sky was lit up like daytime and threre was constant, ground-shaking thunder for about a half hour.  We got some small hail, but thankfully, the wind didn't hit us.

Somehow, our daughter slept through it.

Truth be told, UST performed much better than I expected in its first season of football at the D1 level.

We were in Tracy for the weekend, woke up to tornado sirens Sunday morning around 5:30, when you hear sirens in that town you hit the basement.  Glad you are sate.

The play-by-play guy gave a shout out to SJU when talking about Erdmann, and then somehow referenced the Gagliardi Trophy after a fumble by a running back that was clearly not Erdmann's fault.

Looks like Jerdy's got a favorite target in 6'6" WR Florian Bierbaumer.

I noticed that comment...I scrolled backward to check the play to see if Erdmann mishandled the exchange or something.

I'm almost wondering if he was referring to something pre-snap--like he didn't audible out of the run because of a blitz. But, the running back fumbling would not be Jerdy's fault.

My first thought was that the turf can't be that old, but its been there exactly one decade. I remember when the field used to be natural grass. Now we are going on our third iteration of turf.
