Looking forward to seeing hearing what Zander Dittbenner's got!

Fixed it.

Eat three stakes, drink four beers, take a testosterone supplement and see your doctor in the morning for linking a Bette Midler ballad.  I feel the need to go clean some engine parts in the man shed with Iron Maiden on full blast just for unknowingly clicking.

That had better be the first and last time Bette Midler graces these hallowed pages.  :D

Just took a stroll through CSS's roster--holy smokes, they're young.  I believe I counted only 3 seniors and 6 juniors!

Have we ever had a CSS fan post here?  I don't recall a single one.

Hey, Duff, will SJU send a more junior squad up north?  The game notes have all the regular starters suiting up but I would have thought this was a chance to let anyone with niggling injuries to have an extra week of recovery.  What's the SOP in this situation?  Play the best and what happens, happens?

Believe there was last year. He mentioned their youth too at the time. Did the GAC poster sowilson leave?

There was a guy last year from Texas who had two kids on the team. One of them got injured defending Ravi Alston. I wonder if one winter in Duluth sent them scurrying back down south.

I believe after his son graduated he left the board. Not many parents stick around after they have no personal connection to the program.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Oh yeah, now I recall that CSS guy.  I do wonder what happened to his sons.

Maybe sowilson's son beat his ass?  :o

OZ, I don't think you'll see anything different.  Anyone with a injury may not play (Trost?), but you probably won't notice much substitution until the game is in hand.

Game day!  Maple Grove beat Hopkins 67-0 last night with a 40-pt  first quarter.  Might we see the same today?  Though that wouldn't even cover Logan's spread.

I didn't see Logan's spread, what was it?
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

IIRC, it was 69.5.

Edit: Oops, I was wrong.  He has it at 59.5.

It looks like a beautiful day to make my way to Auggieville to catch my Cobbers live. Got my sunscreen, hat and sunglasses for a late season bake at Edor Nelson Field. I swear despite being only a few miles apart, a game at Augsburg and one at Hamline will feel 30 degrees different on the same day. Today it's the EZ bake oven on I-94. Go Cobbers!

MSHSL needs to change football playoff structure. IMO only the top 4 in a section should qualify and maybe require a .500 record. I wi fed how many times a sub .500 team made state semifinals or finals? I'm guessing never. First round "playoff" games with 0-8 vs 8-0 are just stupid!
