Not that I recall, though if they wore them at CSS, I couldn't tell because the video was so awful.

Not to get all snarky and cranky, but really, what is the purpose of putting that CSS feed out on the net anyway? What's the point, no one can see jack. Mom and Dad really can't see their kid, loyal alums really can't follow the game, etc. etc. I "watched" most of the first half, listening to VOJ on the net, then switched to other games on the TV. But I don't know why they bother.

DuffMan

I agree, MRF.  I had it on but just did other things while listening to The Bear broadcast for most of it.  My 11-yr old watch some of it and was wondering what was up the the horsepoop quality.  Like you said, why bother?  The broadcasters were not bad, but that's it.

The view out the window from my home in St. Paul was only slightly worse than the game video.  Waste of electricity.

I'm sorry to be uninformed but actually what is a Johhnie? Is it human or some type of animal or vegetable? Just like I still don't know what a Lute is.

It's a type of Rat. Best not to ask further questions.

LOL....That's kind of what I thought. I'm sure it feeds on wild rice and cheese curds.

Blue, get your stereotypes straight.  Cheese curds are a WIAC thing.

Bethel plays Augsburg this week to determine the Skyline Division Championship. I must confess I didn't think the Auggies would be in this position at the beginning of the season.

In the Northwoods Division, it's a little messier, and it all depends on the Gustavus - St. Olaf game. While Carleton could knock St. John's out of the championship game for the following week, that's pretty unlikely to happen. And if the Oles were to defeat the Gusties, then there would be three teams at 2 - 2 in the middle of that Division. If Gustavus wins, they leapfrog Carleton up to second in the Division, provided the Johnnies take care of business this week. So there is some intrigue left in this last week of regular games in the MIAC.

You and I both, though the Royals should have no problem soundly beating Auggie Tech.

Art, I have to admit that I thought of you recently.  My son got one of those Estes rocket kits as a gift, and we launched it for the first time.  He was thoroughly impressed.  :D

If Bethel plays the listless football they did in the first half against Olaf, anything is possible against Augsburg. But I actually think that was a good wakeup for them and they responded in the second half.

Also, #17 at corner for Olaf was very impressive.

Save the listless football for the MIAC championship game. :)

That game scares the crap out of me as a fan...on the road at a place where BU has historically struggled, against an opponent who has historically been very hard on BU.  Eek.

Really makes you wish Roste had been healthy for the 10-7 loss against Platteville, because they'd still be in a great position for the playoffs, even with a loss in the championship, or alternatively, a W in the championship plus the W over Plateville would have them extremely well positioned for playoff seedings.

I'd like to think that if Bethel were put into a Pool C position, they would have a pretty strong resume. I'm not sure how the chaos that's been happening in the WIAC would help or hurt, but Bethel would still have a better chance than most to get in.
