Ice Bear says, some on here, like himself, are raging alcoholics lol  ;)

This is a devastating blow to the theory that I have fully embraced that Ice is a Steve Johnson burner account. Bethel would allow no such thing.

I think I'm going to close up shop for the day and think about my understanding of the world and the meaning of life.

Ice says don't give up so easily. The Bear is just throwing up a plethora of smoke and mirrors...Ice says there gots to be more Baptist alcoholics than we know of?
A long time fan of DIII Football!

I have 3 Trombones which I still play regularly...but also 3 guitars and a bass. Give that a spin on the nerd meter.
If the human brain were so simple that we could fully understand it...we would be so simple that we couldn't.

corn horn, which Concordia team is going to show up this weekend? The one that just double monkey stomped Hamline 59-0, or the one that escaped with an overtime win against the Knights three weeks ago?
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

Cool... I play bass, guitar, keyboards and trombone. My trombone is a Conn 8H (played a Conn 88H in college) What type of trombones do you have?  8-) 8-) 8-)

Assuming Singleton is back and healthy, I think Carleton wins round 2. Losing three straight hurts, but I think they respond well. Back-to-back 7-3 seasons is still an accomplishment considering where the program was just a few years ago.

Wow, this got real nerdy in a hurry.  Our 11YO just started playing the trombone, and my sister-in-law dropped off an old Conn that was my wife's mom's and an old silver King that was my wife's grandpa's.  Both need some fairly significant TLC, so he's got a newer rent-to-own trombone till I decide if I want to sink money into these family options.

A tradition unrivaled...

Isn't Oz the unofficial keeper of the acceptable off-season topics? (Beer, Ice Fishing, etc) Can we add the subtle nuances of trombone ownership to the list?

On a scale of one to a HAAG Switzerland Bass Trombone, how exciting will the Augsburg at Gustavus game be?

I saw in the Scoggins article that they described Roste as having a shoulder injury, with a questionable status.

Questionable was going to be the answer no matter what from coach Ice Bear, but not the elbow again...unclear if it is the throwing or non-throwing shoulder.

LOL! I knew there were some closet tromboners in the audience....  :-*

It'll be interesting to see 1) if Singleton returns for another year, and 2) if the Knights take a step back when he graduates.
