Can I take a shot- 50.5

I think it'd need to be wider than that. I'm remembering some of those CSS teams that ran roughshod over the UMAC, and then got obliterated by Bethel and UST in the first round.

Awesome first round draw for SJU, get's immediately tough after that. Upper left quad and lower right have insane depth.

Glad Bethel is in. Wheaton will be a very serious test. With a healthy Roste I think this would be an epic game, hoping he's able to finish the game and give us that kind of mathcup (I know he'll give it all he's got in that regard).

I know he'll give everything.  He's a special player.  I'm honestly surprised Wheaton got a chance to host, thinking maybe it worked out as a budgetary decision.  We do have good facilities, unless you take into account the stadium bathrooms.

Wow,  #1 seed and the Vikings win the most exciting game I've seen them play since the Tark was QB.  Someone in Minnesota sold his soul to the devil today.

A good day for the MIAC.

I hear you can just use the visitors locker room.

So based on the final, week 11, top 25...

SJU bracket
  * SJU #4
  * NWC NR
  * Wartburg #12
  * UWL #7
  * Alma #23
  * Mount St Joseph #25
  * UWW #8
  * Aurora NR

Mount bracket
  * UMU #2
  * Salisbury NR
  * Susquehanna #11
  * Utica NR
  * Randolf-Macon #16
  * Cortland #17
  * Delaware Valley #14
  * Gaulledet NR

North Central bracket
  * NCC #1
  * Lake Forest NR
  * CMU #19
  * DePauw NR
  * Endicott #22
  * Springfield NR
  * Ithica #10
  * Mass-Dartmouth NR

Trinity bracket
  * Trinity #6
  * HSU #9
  * UMHB #3
  * Huntingdon #20
  * Wheaton #15
  * Bethel #13
  * Linfield #5
  * Pamona NR

From easiest to hardest NCC, UMU, SJU, Trinity.  Given that's the way those teams are probably seeded against each other, the committee did ok.  Trinity bracket is brutal although Linfield has, surprisingly, the easiest route through it.

Ice Bear

Ice Karen hoping the Pilots and Rockin Roste can make some noise. Ice admittedly doesn't know much at about Wheaton but will check them out this week. Ice Ice Baby sees the Pilots and the Wildferalcats headed for a possible playoff meeting in the liter box? Ice says some exciting ish here. SJU's road map is set. Ice says off we ****ing go!

UWW came out better than SJU.  :-\

Travel restrictions in the first two rounds, I guess.  We get UMAC then WIAC and ARC every time.  I wish I was back home for those games, that's for sure.  There will be some high-quality football being played in Collegeville as long as the Johnnies are still in it.

If UMU hadn't received the luckiest bounce in the history of Hail Mary plays then that would have been chaos on the brackets.  Both Linfield and SJU would have been hosting, assuming the committee just moved everyone up a slot.

Wartburg is a very good team.

Massey says 24-27 win for UWL.  That would be a tough game.  Of course, Massey also says that UWL would beat SJU in Collegeville 28-30, so Massey is obviously cracked.

Massey says UWW will mash Aurora 37-14.  I wonder if our old pals at Aurora will turn up again for the big game and surprise UWW with all they can handle?

Sheesh.  Aurora had two games scoring over 70, two more over 60, one in the 50's, two in the 40's, one in the 30's (their only loss) and two in the 20's (both in the first five game of the season).  Those fellas can score.

UWW opens w the team that put up 80 points in two games against the Johnies.
If UWW makes it to round two, then yes, UWW likely came out better - for that game.

DuffMan

Yeah, Aurora with Gavin Zimbleman have the Johnnies all they could handle.  SJU almost certainly got a weaker 1st round opponent, but should both SJU and UWW win, I'd prefer UWW's 2nd round opponent.
