DustySJU Protip - put the toe warmer on top and add the sole warmer beneath, ready set hut  :-*

Nice. I need to replenish my stockpile before Saturday--will keep that in mind.  I'm half considering bringing a small propane heater.  :D

Here's an idea that I think would work and if I were going I would do myself. Bring one those smaller Mr. Heater (either the Little Buddy or portable Buddy and extra can of propane). Put the heater as far under your seat as you are able and then layer with the tarp covering your legs followed by the blankets.
About two or three years ago I had to film a high school game on a frigid November night at Park Center High School (alma mater of Jeff Norman). The heater actually heated up the aluminum so much that my ass started to get hot!!! The tarp kept some of the heat in as well....it was the last game of the "Covid Season" and they didn't even bother clearing snow from the bleachers....see below. Earlier that same season I used the heater one Friday night and was in shorts the next.

Just read Ruesse's story on Todd Hoffner...he's had a great run w/ the Mavs...how did I miss that his 13 year old daughter took her own life in April 2021? Puts some things in perspective. How do parents ever recover from that?

Unfortunately, they don't totally, even with the strongest Faith.

Faunch, that's kind of what I was thinking.  Unfortunately, I don't have one of those really small ones--I have a regular Buddy and a Focus 10, and I think both would cook us with that setup.

Maybe I'll pick a smaller one up.

I will be at the Gopher Game vs Iowa, I already have my cold weather gear planned out after a trip to Fleet Farm yesterday for new choppers and more hand warmers after deer season. I am surprised SJU would let people in with a portable heater?! If people tried to bring a heater into a Gopher game it would be a short and sweet statement...... No.

Good Luck to SJU and Bethel!

The Google ariel view of SJU must be early on a 2022 game day.  The new field is pictured, and there is tailgate lot is filling up!

It's got to be either the Whitewater or River Falls game. None of the trees have started to turn yet. By October 1 (the Concordia game) the leaves were changing.

Yeah that just seems odd?  I respect the heck out LaCrosse they are well coached and definitely on the rise.  Just look at the all-conference selections.
La Crosse has 4 on 1st team offense...Whitewater has 2. They both have 3 on defense.

But Wartburg is hosting and had a pretty good year as well.  Here's hoping for a competitive, injury free game!  Safe travels to all this weekend.

I work with a guy that played at Whittier....he's pretty bummed out today. He was an assistant coach for Woz at Armstrong High.

Wow - you got the scoop on Pat and the crew... :o

Or, perhaps D3FB has something in the works and are looking for direct quotes from a person out there that is intimate with the situation?

This went public a few days ago and we posted about it on Twitter but everything takes a backseat to playoff coverage this week.

I like it, no need for any security checks. Not yet anyway.....
