I like it, no need for any security checks. Not yet anyway.....

The Northwoods Division is like the wild west.  Anything goes...

Just a reminder, playoff games start at noon, so an hour earlier than we are use to! I am going to have to set an alarm for tomorrow morning so I can get stuff done before the game!

Go Johnnies!!!

Can't keep kids off the field. Seems doubtful students are gonna stop adults from trying to stay warm.

For anyone with any insight, is the St John's coaching staff looking ahead to the potential matchup with either La Crosse or Wartburg & doing some preparation/game-planning now?

I work with a guy that played at Whittier....he's pretty bummed out today. He was an assistant coach for Woz at Armstrong High.

It looks like D3 football in California is barely hanging on by a thread. Only six teams left in the state?

Uh, no.  You've got to win this one or the next one doesn't happen.  In '02, we nearly got beat in th 1st round by a Redlands team that we should have beaten very comfortably.  You can't take anything for granted in the playoffs.

I just walked our dog--I think tomorrow will rival the '02 Coe playoff game for weather.  ISH!

Appreciate the insight, Duff! I suspected this would be the case. I do hope tomorrow starts a very long, successful, memorable playoff run! Stay warm & cheer loud!

On the Thursday Football Weekly with VOJ, Gary Fasching confirms that Trost is out this weekend.

Good luck to the Johnnies in the weeks coming up. You guys are my favorite team on your side of the bracket. Play smart ... play hard and hoping for no injuries! Maybe we'll meet in the Stagg Bowl!

Game day!  LFG, Johnnies!

Gary's already trying to keep the score from getting out of hand.  ;)

I just saw a picture from the D3 cross country championships in Lansing, MI.
Temps in the 20's with snow on the ground and windy. That sounds like a good time. Cross country championships In Michigan in mid November...great idea!!!

Smart move. And I'm guessing Trost isn't the only one. One of
The benefits of a #1 seed  and the resulting pairing. UWW won't have that luxury today. Agreed with posts noting that next week, UW-W's opponent (if we win)  won't be as highly ranked as the Johnnies.   But this week we have a challenge to meet.

Definitely don't want to sleep on Aurora.  They can score in a hurry.
