That's a nice story on Devin. He's one of those guys that needs to have a big year for the Johnnies. It would be a great way to cap a long journey for him.
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright.

I think Trost would have had a better 2022 season with Devin in the backfield.

The uglies up front need to be able to produce a consistent short yardage push or it won't matter if Delvin Cook was coming back for his 12th year.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Woz was certainly a dominant player, but SJU has a history of finding/developing dominant d-linemen (me, excluded  :D), so I'm not too concerned.  As John always said, "Every year we replace irreplaceable players."

Yes, yes, it's a basketball story, but it's a good one from Reusse:

Covid stopping D3 March Madness in 2020 was a gut punch. SJU and UST were set to meet in the Sweet 16 and SJU had just beaten UST by 20 in the MIAC Championship game. I really think SJU could have made it to the Final Four in 2020.

Recent Johnnie grads  Alade, Stockman and Walford will be playing against the Jones brothers and Oturu on Tuesday, July 25 at 5:45 in the Pro-Am league at Minnehaha Academy.

This is a whole other level of stupid at SUNY-Morrisville. August and September are going to be absolutely brutal on this field.

Well looks like they've got lights...maybe night games?

With their home black jerseys they'll just keep the lights off.

Unless they plan to do everything at night its going to be miserable. And, with the black, I would have to imagine that the field would retain heat beyond sunset and into the evening hours.

Not only that but excepting all visiting teams to play night games then travel isn't gonna happen...I'm pretty surprised that made it through all the layers of bureaucracy actually, I mean that's not a one guy with a wild idea thing.

Yikes.  Given that a temperature difference is notable on a green turf field, just because of the ground black rubber infield that isn't even fully exposed to the sun, I can't imagine how awful that must be on a sunny, hot day.
