Look out for my Auggies, with Derrin Lamker and Jack Osberg on the sidelines and a good QB like Sheehan they will be competitive this fall.

The Auggies almost always present a problem for Bethel.  I wouldn't be surprised to see them topple the Royals this season.  The Johnnies will stomp them, as usual.

A tradition unrivaled...

Faunch, doin' the hard work.  Much appreciated.  A transfer from the Ivy League.  That's interesting.  Although of all the Ivy League schools, Brown is the last one I would expect to have a football team.  I would expect Brown and football to go together like ice cream and bacon.
Old school Vikings TE Steve Jordan went to Brown
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

He's the exception that proves the rule.  I found this list and only 31 players have ever been drafted from Brown.  And only three since 1982 when Steve Jordan was drafted.

Almost always is over selling it, but yeah, particularly @Ausburg, which it is again this year, has been more of an issue.  A lot of  ?'s around who BU will be this year, so if it's gonna happen again, this could be it.

2013 - Home - W 31-28
2014 - Home - L 61-62 in double OT
2015 - Away - L 42 - 49
2016 - Away - W 62 - 27
2017 - Home - W - 42 - 22
2018 - Away - W 75 - 0
2019 - Home - W 62 - 6
2020
2021 - Home W 45 - 14
2022 - Away W 30 - 27

Fair enough, but if there is a cellar-dweller that is going to give Bethel fits, it's going to be Auggie Tech.

100%!

Ayrton Scott in particular had his way with Bethel's defense over his 4 seasons.

The SJU-Trinity broadcast "will be available for purchase" on or about Friday, September 1. It would be kind of nice if they could let us know in how much, right?

Extended forecast is saying a beautiful day is in store. Low 60s in the morning. Mid- to high-70s at game end. Let's hope the forecast holds out!

Tough day for GAC, the MIAC, the state of hockey and a whole lot of families and friends.

That's a tragedy. The families and all the girls will be shattered.

As an aside, I had no idea GAC had won the women's national championship. We need some GAC posters to return to the boards.

What does Auggie O line and defense have coming back this year?

Not sure to be honest I don't follow them during the off-season like I used to. I know they are getting bigger and taller as I have looked at the roster. I see the twin linebackers from Edina, the Kahin brothers are back, and the other linebackers Sjostrand and Tverberg are back too. There was another linebacker/def end from last year who I don't see on the roster.  Returning WRs will be strong and several RB's are back too. Sheehan the starting QB seems to have been at Augsburg forever.
