I'll pay it.  The money to make us nationally competitive has to come from somewhere.  I say my $60 lays claim to some part of the Johnnie program.  I have dibs on Syverson's shoelaces if we beat Trinity.

Won't he need those the following week against UW-W?

Wasn't it $10/game last year? That seems pretty steep.

Home game (in person) ticket price is $15. How does that compare to Bethel or GAC?

BU football alumni get free season passes - unsure what the going rate is at Bethel.
I looked and couldn't find it for BU. Mary Hardin Baylor is $10
for reserved seats: https://cruathletics.com/sports/2009/8/4/GEN_0804094612.aspx
And Mount Union appears be $10: https://athletics.mountunion.edu/sports/2021/7/23/tickets.aspx
Wartburg is $6: https://go-knights.net/sports/2010/6/21/GEN_0621103733.aspx
North Central is $8: https://northcentralcardinals.com/sports/2009/2/12/GEN_0212093719.aspx

My Johnnies appear to be gouging a bit and I'm a bit bothered by it.

Do I like it? Not really. But, I'm willing to see what the production looks like before I give my opinion. I'm going to use my football officiating income slush fund to pay for it, so my wife will have nothing to complaint about.

I wish my $475 season tix included a season video pass.

Now that should be included.  It's a no cost, high value addition.

Sorry Oz, Australia is the first team knocked out at the Little League World Series.

Head Coach is a cool dude however.  He bought T shirts for all the Cuba coaches. They cost $24 which is how much the Cuba HC makes in a month.

Team was solid, but the competition is pretty stiff. #LLWS

I like Jomboy's commentary.  He's got some good highlights from the LLWS.

There have been a couple unbelievable games on the United States side: Texas v Washington and California v Washington. Unfortunately for Washington they lost both nail biters. Hi drama and quality baseball, especially for 10-12 year olds.

I don't see any team being able to handle Chinese Taipei. They are stacked and have the single best player in the whole tournament. As a pitcher no one can touch him, and their 2nd and 3rd guys are pretty unhittable as well.

International championship and United Staes championship on Saturday. World championship on Sunday.

#LLWS

Upon further review...I did a few calculations. Round trip to Collegeville and back home is about 170 miles which costs about $30 in fuel. Add in ticket price plus some beverages and vittles and the day costs me $60. Realistically I'll attend in person the Trinity, Bethel and probably the Concordia game. Paying $30 to watch the Carleton and St. Scholastica from home will cost me less than driving up for one game. Change is hard but inevitable.

Yeah, yeah, I just burned $60 in boat gas today.  It's not going to break me, but it seems higher than most other programs are charging.

We all have choices. I get it. Last year our tailgate spots doubled in price, but as one of our group said "they know and we know they know but, what are we going to do, not tailgate before the game? No, and they know it, so we pay."
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!
