I believe Morris is NCAA D3 in the UMAC, unless something changed in the past couple of years.

Sorry - perhaps I should have used a semi-colon, as I was referring to Valley City State...

Oops I see that now. Sorry!

Final reports were submitted yesterday and we're supposed to hear back by June 14th.

Here's a couple of links from BU's onboard camera of their two competition flights:

The Hawks dominated Adelaide all day to take their fifth win in the last seven games.  They are less of an outside chance to play finals ever week.  The Hawks are a really exciting, young group that play face-paced, attacking football.  They are vulnerable to teams with really well-structured defensive schemes and a great counter-punch, but they are getting more dangerous each time they take the pitch.

We had friends over for dinner on Saturday night and their son is a freshman at the University of Sydney where he's studying aerospace engineering and physics.  He's also on the school's rocket team where he designed this year's launch pad.  If there's an international competition you may be going up against the wonder from down under, art.

That's way cool Oz,

If we can raise the funds needed, this is our goal next year (2025) - and it is my understanding that there are international teams competing this year.  https://spaceportamericacup.com/

In a WNBA-UFL-Goodwill Games Seinfeld Bizarro World version of the "Last Furnace Turn On" competition that happens in the fall, let me as the usual Kramer early tap out contestant admit that I did indeed turn my A/C on yesterday.

This is a MIAC/WIAC/UMAC footprint competition. Some of the guys like Texas Ole might never turn their A/C off, who knows. We might also have guys that refuse to ever turn on the A/C or in fact don't have A/C or if they do have no idea if it works or not.

So whose holding out and keeping the windows open and the fans blowing?  8-)

Still Master of my Domain...A/C still off.

While I hold out respectably before turning on the furnace, since it's nice to sleep in the cold, and easily remedied with more blankets or a sweatshirt, I am fast to turn the A/C on. Hate trying to sleep when it's warm.

Unrelated - I saw that SJU picked up two good players from 6A State champs - Centennial.  My kids are in elementary in the district currently - so I went to a few home games, and then their entire run through the playoffs, as they were fun to watch.

Harper is a bruising type of a running back who also could break off a long run from time to time - played linebacker also - not sure which side of the ball he will end up on.

Cummings was a dual threat QB who mostly ran, but was a capable passer when needed - but just wasn't called on to pass all that much with their strong o-line and running game.  He also played safety - he's pretty athletic - could see him finding a home in a number of spots if he isn't strong enough at QB to play the position at SJU.

Haven't turned the AC on yet.  Our house luckily stays pretty cool without.  The Mrs. wears a sweatshirt most days.
I also don't want to create AC babies--no AC at the cabin, so get used to sharing without it!

A tradition unrivaled...
