Wilkinson took 2nd in the Steeplechase.  He doesn't have the Olympic standard, but may still get in on his world ranking, fantastic showing either way.

Dude never qualified for the state track meet.  Great story.

Just back from Alaska celebrating 40 years with my bride. As we were leaving town word came through that the Bethel University Rocket Club did indeed win the "2023-2024 Space Grant (in-the-)Midwest High-Power Rocketry Competition" to become three-pete winners. As soon as the BU Marketing Department posts something I'll share more. We keep knocking down the big dogs (and it's kind of fun)!

The Hawks make it five in a row!  They came off the bye and travelled across the country to Perth where they smashed the Eagles on their home deck.  Next week we play Geelong down in Geelong. A big match as Geelong's season is also on the line. Man, it's fun to have the Hawks in the hunt again.

Just listened to the podcast that dropped on Friday - was up at the cabin. Lots and lots of explanations concerning the new play-off format and how things would have been different in the past if the current format in place had been used in previous years. Lots to ponder. And a new Stagg Bowl date and place, to boot.

My son is taking part in a social experiment, he has to wear a St Thomas t-shirt for a week.  So far he's been abused, spat on, kicked and punched in the face. It'll be interesting to see what happens when he leaves the house!

Me: "Great"

DJ: "It's a Maths question. Feeling confident?"

Me: "Yes, why not. I've got a PhD in a science and I have taught maths at the highest level."

DJ:"Okay then, to win 2 VIP tickets to an evening with St Glenn Caruso, and you get to meet him after his talk and sit with him at his own table during the dinner, what's 2+2?"
